We all know that shiny Pokémon are extremely rare; the chance of finding one is less than 0.1%. However, with the addition of the PokéRadar, it has been made easier to capture shinies. So I thought, why not do the same in the game, but a different method? Here's what I propose:
NPC Pokémon can also be shiny, right? So what about after a player Pokémon defeats, say... 5 shiny Pokémon, they have a 10% chance of becoming shiny every time they kill one after? It would still be pretty hard, considering the chance of encountering a shiny would still be very low, and would require either extreme dedication/determination or extreme luck.

That actually seems like a good idea, but seeing as how shininess really doesn't do anything except make you shiny, I think we should probably focus on finishing the game before we start adding anything of that sort.

Eh, we might raise the % chance of being shiny , but we're definitely not making it a system where everyone can just keep attempting to become shiny. It would take away from the uniqueness of being shiny.
