Fundraisers Fundraisers are what keep the campagins going. Every candidate needs a large warchest to win the election. When writing a fundraiser please include;
There are multiple types of fundraisers; Gala- A speech to a generally very wealthy, specific auidence. Your best bet is to get nasty about your opponent, but remember by attacking him to much people will just get bored. Direct Mailer- A direct mailer is a 2 sided mailer that is sent to a certain number of houses.. This number must be realstic, generally no more than fifty thousand. Rally- A rally is held for everybody, and everyone. Unlike a Gala you don't have to pay to come, but your asked to donate at the end of the rally. At a rally you should talk more about your policies, then your opponents. Book- Your allowed to write a book once every two years. Webroots- This is the future. You can do anything relating to the internet, the more creative the better. You can update your website three months after you post it, five months after your first update, and ten months after your second update. Note: You must have a separate back account for campaigns - those'll be made in the actual Campaign Forum...NOT in the Bank Accounts (you're allowed to donate personal $ to your campaigns) There will be Presidential Races (obvious) Candidates will fundraiser to compete in these races (obvious) Candidates will exit the race (obvious) So, what do you do with that money when you leave? You can donate anywhere from 0% - 50% to the candidate you endorse. You can donate anywhere from 0% - 50% to the party. You can donate anywhere from 0% - 50% to your personal account.
