Event: 1 Location: Charlotte, North Carolina - Memo Address to the Members of Senate Type: Speech Target: Conservatives, Voters, Independents, Republicans, United States Senators ![]() Hello Charlotte, It has been a privilege to be here in North Carolina and serve as your United States Senator of about four years so far. I am Nicholas Williams, the current Senate Minority Leader. I would like to say my future plans for this country as your next United States Senate Minority Leader. One of the main things a Senator must remember in my opinion is keeping in touch with his/her constituents. I am here today to speak with the great people of Charlotte and tell them my plans on how to reform this country and make a better tomorrow. I was recently elected into the Senate Minority post. I would like to point out that one of the first things I plan on doing while your Minority Leader is represent my party to the best extent. Yes, we must not fall short under the Majority Party and we need to not do so by following the Senate Procedures, not getting into so much of a heated debate, and finding real solutions to the issues. The second thing I plan to tackle is bi-partisanship. Yes, you and I both know that bi-partisanship is feared on the hill, but working together is what makes this country great. Third, we must work with the President and get the things done that we need to do. The President has all of the information and knows best, we may not agree with everything to be done, but we must get them done. President Hart gave a fantastic speech on the hill and addressed the congress to her best ability. Her speech was great and it was one of the many best I have seen. The Leadership in Washington right now, I think is at its best and to my knowledge the leadership of both parties and independents will work their best to reform and make good changes to the country. Finally, we must remember that we are representing the people of America. This nation has changed ever since I was a little boy. I remember the elections of Terry Sanford and his Presidential runs. Times were different back in those days of course and now it is time to continue the change. Remember the people when ever you press that button to vote on a bill, remember those who struggle to pay their bills. Remember those who have their salary cut in half because of their outrageously high taxes. Remember the state you are representing. This is my address to the Senate and the people of North Carolina. I would like to finally thank you all for you guys' support in the leadership elections and I would like to wish for god's speed with you all. North Carolina, the times are changing and I am here to reach my hand out to the people. I want to hear the people's voice so please call me anytime. Charlotte, thank you and god bless you all. |

$190,000 Overall good job, people are happy that you talked about by-partisanship and getting things done, but a little bit more policy could have worked wonders. |

Event: 3 Location: Greensboro, North Carolina Type: North Carolina Right To Life Speech Target: Independents, Conservatives, Republicans ![]() Howdy Greensboro Let me first start off by saying that it is a s sincere pleasure to be here in Greensboro. I have lived here for the past couple of years and doing so here my wife and I have helped spread religious values throughout this town. Greensboro has always been a fairly Christian conservative city in which I am very proud and honored of. Today I am here to speak with you all about a stirring debate right now in the nation and has been talked upon by fellow senators, that is Abortion. You know, right now there has been much focus on the current Budget for 2012 which I totally understand. Of course that is our current focus right now as Senate Minority Leader. In the back on my head has been a issue that has been circling in the back of my mind. I think that Abortion is a major issue and we must address this issue head on. I was reading the headlines a couple of days back and it said that the abortion rates have risen since 2010. Well, I don't know about you all but I feel that we must end this immoral act today! Abortion has been a uprising issue in the past century and I never recall hearing about abortion when I was young. I think that as a proud Christian Conservative that we must end Abortion especially Partial-Birth Abortion. I supported the Partial-Birth Abortion ban act in the early 21st Century. I also support the call for overturning Roe v. Wade. America sees many new issues and problems that challenge the eligibility of moral values in which this nation is built on and I think that Abortion tops the list. Although, it is good that a majority of the young high school and college Americans have opened their eyes and have seen how wrong it is as well. I support the requirement for all of the schools to offer a abstinent class. I think we need to have the schools to provide programs to teach young kids not to have sex, or if they do have sex do it safely. Teen Pregnancies are also results of Abortions and high school drop outs, we must do what ever we can as a Nation UNDER GOD to do our best what is right for this country Morally. Whenever I am walking down the street and I see signs that say "Pretend I am A Tree And Save Me" I break a smile on my face because I know that North Carolina is finally understanding the importance to stop abortion. I am pleased to say that right now in Washington we are all looking for a bi-partisan way to handle this issue Abortion. I as your Senate Minority Leader and Senator am looking for ways to preserve our moral and religious values on which this nation has been built on. Thank You and God Bless America! |

$2,000,000 not bad at all, a tiny bit more detailed chapters would have been nice, but pretty good job. Mainly Evangelical Christians buy the book, as many do in the Christian Coaltion. |
