Yeah, I'm gonna watch it. To be honest, I'm proud of P&F. They managed to become the spiritual successor of Kim Possible. Why?

1) Managing to achieve a more "periphery demographic" than the other shows on Disney Channel.
2) Being the best show on Disney Channel and being the only cartoon on a network full of mostly teen sitcoms. When KP was around, this was not a problem. :trixie2: :raritystarry:
3) Having characters that resemble Kim Possible (Doofenshmirtz=Drakken, Vanessa=Shego) and actually having Kim Possible appear in an episode. :rainbowcool: :photofinish:

It's epicness makes me want to cry! :') Even though I wasn't initially a fan enough to watch the show, and thought it was nice that there was at least one toon on DC, I can't ignore it any longer.

It seems like this movie will go far beyond my expectations. In other words, IT'S GONNA BE AWESOME. I love the "alternate-dimension" plot, it gives a feel of a cyberpunk universe, and alot of really cool stuff, i.e. the underground resistance of a world fueled by technology. (Beneath a Steel Sky-*SHOT* But seriously, that's what comes to mind for me. )

Come to think of it, it kinda reminds me of one of the KP movies. I forget the name; but I'm sure that in the plot, it told of a bleak future where Shego ruled and had control over everyone, ruling with an iron fist.

It's a good thing that Xfinity works down here, I am definitely going to watch it, and give a review.

OK, this movie was awesome. I was right after all!

The plot was great, the animation is refined, and it does a good balance between the dark sci-fi elements, and the light comedic elements. It met all my expectations. Though: if there were 3 things wrong with it:

1) I didn't go to any wiki in advance to find out the ending to the movie; I only hypotheised it. I was going to post it earlier, but I decided not to take the risk of spoiling the ending. I was right.

Though it was heartwarming to see Agent P with the pictures of him, Phineas, and Ferb at the end of the film.

2)I'll give the film credit, wether or not in a main character role, it tried to get as many characters and as much references to past events in the series as possible. Though, just one character was missing for me, Vanessa. I don't even think she was referenced.

3) The dimension-counterparts. According to sci-fi nature, if you touch your counterpart from a different dimension/period of time, the very fabric of time could implode, right? I might be digging in a little deep into this, after all, it IS fiction, but it irked me a little.

The end of the film did do the moment I was hoping for.

I'll be honest with you, I applauded at that scene.
My favorite parts:

1) Candace: Wait a minute, Isabella suddenly dresses FASHIONABLE?
Isabella 2-D: What do you mean, SUDDENLY?

2) After Candace 2-D finishes off a horde of robots:
Buford 2-D: I am so in love with her right now.
Isabella 2-D: Did you say something?
Buford 2-D: Nothing...

3) The musical number between the 2 Doofs. Pure hilarity.

Every movie has its flaws; I'm not saying it was a horrible film, if anything, I'd say it was the best TV movie of the summer season. It's a little cliched, I'll be honest, but with a nice soundtrack and surprisingly complex character development, I'd give this movie: 4.25 out of 5.

I think Phineas and Ferb is ridiculously overrated, and only find it to be a decent show. However, i've heard great things about this movie (even from people who hate Phineas and Ferb), so i'll have to see it when I get the chance.
