Swinging herself up onto Zaa, Dora then held a hand down to the woman, "Up you come." As she gave the lady time to get settled in behind her, she smiled, it audible in her voice, "What is your name?" |

"Marie. And who are you? How did you meet them?" |

"Zadora," she responded as she set Zaa off at a light trot away from the crater, but not yet toward the others, "I am a paladin, I hail from Stormwind." It wasn't until they were out of sight that she set Zaa off toward the Horde members, her voice very quiet as she spoke, "I have been out looking to help wherever it is needed since the... shattering. When I came across Southshore, it was finally too much, because that town was not even destroyed by the dragon. It had survived. And then the horde..." With a shake of her head, Dora cut herself off before her thoughts and words veered into dangerous territory, "Anyway. They were there too, and stopped me from charging into what was probably certain death for pointless revenge." |

Marie nodded. "Well, I'm glad they stopped you." Her expression darkened. "More than enough innocent blood has been spilled in Southshore." |

"I'm no innocent..." was the solemn response Marie received as Zaa trotted into the little camp Helo and Rey were waiting in, "But I am glad you survived." Dismounting, she then helped Marie off the horse as well before stepping back, to give her peace with the other two, "As are they, I am sure." |

Helothann stood up and turned to face the woman, smiling warmly, though mentally he was experiencing another flash of guilt - had only ONE human made it, after all? |

"You're alive." Reyvan smiled at the woman. Then her brow creased. "But... the others?" Marie's smile faded. "Roland died in Southshore. Dominic's alive, but he's bitter against all the Horde since the Forsaken's attack." |

Interjecting quietly, Zadora did her best to stand up for her new companions, "The words of the angry man do not matter. What you did was a brave, crazy thing." Shifting, she removed Zaa's saddle, starting to brush him down as she finished, "He is alive, let that be your comfort." |

Helo took a few steps toward the woman, moving around Telon. "I am glad to hear that you and the other survived - had I known the Forsaken had such plans, I would not have taken you to Southshore, or I would have been there to warn and then protect," he said grimly. "What happened there is inexcusable." |

Marie grimaced and nodded. "Is there anything we can do to help you refugees?" Reyvan asked quietly. "No," Marie replied, face grim, "Most of my fellows are of the same mind as Dominic: they view all Horde as the enemy. They'd kill you on sight, even if you were trying to help." Reyvan sighed, eyes downcast. "I figured as much." "Anyway, I didnt come here to ask for your aid," Marie said, allowing herself a small smile, "I came to thank you. You saved me from that hell-hole." |
