Watching the conversation, Dora smiled slightly at Marie, "You can't let them care for you, even a little?" |

Helo glanced over at Zadora and chuckled. "If it is a matter of safety, perhaps we should listen to her. There is also the chance that our presence may attract Forsaken attention." |

Marie nodded at Helothannin's words. Reyvan sighed in resignation. "Well, I'm sorry there's not more we can do for you and your people," she told Marie. "Do be careful," she allowed herself a small smile, "It'd be an awful shame to see you get killed after we went to all the trouble of freeing you." "You two have done more than enough for me already," Marie said as she shook Reyvan's boney hand, "I can never thank you enough." She turned and extended a hand to Helo once more. Watching as Marie said her goodbyes, Dora carefully slung the saddle over Zaa's back once more, "I will take you back to the crater, then." |

He took it and gave it a gentle squeeze. "Be well." Telon strutted up behind him and fixed the woman with a stare out of one eye, then he huffed off and began preening himself. Helo looked at him from over his shoulder and shook his head, chuckling. |

Marie turned to the paladin and smiled. "Thank you very much Miss Zadora." |

Nodding, Dora heaved herself back into the saddle, reaching down to pull Marie up afterward, "The two of you decide where we go next. I will return." |

Helo was trying very hard to keep the (pleasant) surprise off his face. Where "we" go next, she had said...did that mean she trusted them enough to risk traveling with them? What an odd group THAT would make...and what a dangerous one, as well. |

Reyvan blinked. 'We'? She had assumed the three of them would be separating after they found the refugees, but it seemed the paladin had other ideas. Rey wasnt sure how she felt about that. She never spent much time with other people without a clear reason. But then again, why not? They seemed like good people, and it wasnt like she had anything else to do. She thought back to the days after they freed the humans, before the cataclysm hit. Days spent wandering the wilderness by herself, with no purpose or destination. Days spent wondering why she still existed, and half wishing she didnt. Maybe it would do her good to have a bit of companionship for awhile. |

Her purpose, right now, was to travel to those places that had been destroyed and work at rebuilding them. While the work was rewarding, it was but a small drop in the span of time she spent travelling alone. Dora wasn't ashamed to admit that she got lonely at times - anyone would. Zaa was a wonderful companion, but not one for conversation or a pint of ale or two. So they were members of the Horde. Oh well. They were still people, and they seemed to be good ones at that. They could find worthwhile things to do. Dropping Marie back with her companions, the paladin left with a nod of her head, trotting back to her new travel mates at a jaunty, yet comfortable pace. Their world had just been torn apart, this was no time for petty infighting among its residents. |
