Her tone was gruff when she spoke, making it clear she did not want to talk about it, "It's nothing. I'm not upset." Of course, that was one of the biggest lies of the day, but she would stand by it. Shifting on her feet, the paladin kept an eye on them both, weighing her words carefully before she spoke, "What are the two of you doing?" |

Helo glanced back over his shoulder, at the ruins of Southshore. "...I came here to hopefully find some sign that the humans we rescued were alive, that they escaped. I got rather sidetracked when I saw just what the Forsaken did here...it is disgusting, and I feel guilty over it - like I should have been able to prevent this." He rubbed a hand over his face; it would take some time to sort through the maelstrom of emotions this had kindled, much like it had when Arthas brought his Scourge to the Sunwell and torn Helo's life apart. There was always time to think and reflect while on the road - he knew this better than anyone - so when he returned to aimless wandering, he would be able to closely examine and come to peace with the turmoil he was currently ignoring. "I...I will search and see if I can find any clues of where the survivors may have gone, then I will seek them out. After that I suppose I shall go where I feel I am needed most, even if my help or presence is not wanted." |

"Are you sure it's wise to search for the survivors?" Reyvan asked Helo quietly, "If you find them, they'll likely kill you on sight for being a member of the Horde. I know you want to help them, but... I want you to be careful." She shifted awkwardly, a bit embarassed by her display of concern. She turned to the human. "I don't really know where I'll go from here. I suppose I'll visit the settlements hardest hit by this... cataclysm. See what I can do to help. Hopefully I'll find a way to make myself usefull. I can't stand just sitting around." |

She was silent for a moment, but it was with a quick nod of her head that she then mounted up on Zaa and turned him, to face her new... companions, "Let's go, then. We will find your humans, or what remains of them." |

Helo couldn't stop the smile that crossed his features. "Let's...but, first, allow me some time to examine this area. Even a boot print would be enough to tell me, possibly, where the survivors may have gone." He then looked over to Reyvan and nodded to her. "And do not worry - I am careful in most everything I do." Returning his gaze to the human, he pointed off to the east. "If memory serves there is a river that direction...it might be best for you to wait there, where you're less likely to be seen, while I look around. You may even find signs of humans there yourself - if they fled that way, they might not have taken the time to travel up to the road to cross the bridge." |

Reyvan blinked. Was she imagining it, or did she attract people with no sense of self preservation? First it was Helo with his crazy rescue plan, now it was this woman who tried to take on a small army of Forsaken single handed. And now they wanted to go looking for people who would probably attack Helo on sight. But if she were honest with herself, she knew she was just as bad as they were. "I'm coming too then," she said with a sigh of resignation, "I can help. And I also want to know if our three escaped." She looked at the human. "If we're to be working togethor, I suppose I should introduce myself. I'm Reyvan Everstride. And you? I can't keep calling you 'human'." |

Kneeing Zaa lightly, Dora guided him over to Rey, holding out a hand to shake, "Zadora." Shrugging a little, she looked to Helo for a moment, including him too, "Don't know my real last name, so there's no sense in making one up." While that last statement wasn't exactly true, she did not need them to know that. There were things too personal for close friends to be told, much less strangers. Before she left, she would shake Helo's hand too - there were just pieces of decorum to important for her to give up, no matter what. |

Helo nodded to her. "Shall we meet, then, at the bridge over the river? I'm not sure how long it will take me to - well, there is no guarantee I'll find anything, actually. I either will, or I won't. I shall search until I do, or I determine that I am merely wasting time." He gestured, and Telon strutted forward to them. Before he climbed to the hawkstrider's back he gave the avian's head a gentle pat, then settled himself in the saddle and directed the bird around so that they were heading toward Southshore. "Hopefully I will find something," he called over his shoulder. |

"Good luck," Reyvan called after Helo. She tucked her things back in her bag and mounted her skeletal horse. She looked at Zadora. "Race you to the bridge?" |

Dora smirked a little at the challenge, "Go!" With that, she kicked Zaa into a gallop, guiding him deftly through the trees to keep herself from sight of the Forsaken prowling the ruins of an innocent town. For as big as he was, the stallion was graceful, and he loved the race just as much as his owner did. This world was hell now, and they had to find their fun where they could. |
