Helo left Rey and Zadora inside and slipped outside into the night, finding Telon and giving the hawkstrider some attention before removing his bedroll from among his belongings and ducking around behind the inn.

He found a soft spot of grass and settled down; his head wasn't hurting anymore, so he was at least getting accustomed to the arcane energy that charged the air in Hyjal - in fact, he was laying on a slight slope that led down to the banks of the lake...a lake that was actually softly glowing with arcane energy he saw, now that he was looking directly at it.

He shook his head and stretched out on his back, staring up at where the sky should have been. The great tree more or less obscured his view of the stars...oh well.

Noamuth flopped down beside him and almost immediately fell asleep. Helo took the leather tie out of his hair and tied it around his wrist so he wouldn't lose it, then gave his head a scratch with both hands before clasping his hands above him and resting his head on them and purposely blanking his mind, focusing only on the sounds around in him the night.

If he didn't, he'd wake up talking to his father again.

She had made some small talk with Reyvan before she settled down, grateful for the roof over her head - she did so hate sleeping out of doors. The presence of the woman next to her was probably more comforting than it should have been, considering that she was both of the Horde and rather dead, but Dora couldn't find it in herself to care about either of those things. The feeling that shot through her body when Rey had touched her hand in silent sorrow for her... warmth. That's what she thought of, now, when the other woman tangled herself in her thoughts.

... If only she could find warmth in other places of her life - tonight was certainly a melancholy night. The support given to her by this ragtag group was so welcome it almost hurt, but wasn't able to stop the guilt that still, to this very day, tied itself in her soul - she's the reason her parents are dead. What child kills their parents? Maybe she didn't deserve warmth, it almost would have been fitting to have died in the cold, frozen north, left to freeze over or be picked at by starving animals on ground too hard with frost to dig in to.

When she fell asleep, she fell asleep facing Rey, curled up slightly within her bedroll - unusual for her, as she normally couldn't sleep unless she was on her back. But tonight... something was different.

--

When the first glint of morning sun hit her eyes, Dora winced and shifted, bring her hand up to block the light - hopefully, today would be better.

Sebastian had managed to fall asleep, his flask still in hand as he mumbled next to Loyalty. The horse rose it's head, looking to it's master with hazelnut eyes before settling down again - attempting to curl into his form. The sun was quickly coming up over the horizon, invading the blackness that his eyelids caused, "Bloody ..." He groaned, beginning to shift against the steed.

He stopped.

Opening his eyes, he realized he were still outside. With a rough hand, he rubbed his jaw, "Ah, my back ... damnit." Looking to Loyalty he couldn't help but pet at his mane, "Thanks again, old friend. I appreciate the company, but you do nothing for my back." He chuckled.

Reyvan blinked sleepily as sunlight crept into the room, then turned over and snuggled back into the warmth of the bedding, eyes drifting shut once more. That had been her first good nights sleep in quite some time. Since leaving the Deathstalkers, it seemed she was unable to quiet her mind enough to fall asleep. Of course, as a Forsaken she didnt need to sleep to survive, but she liked to anyway when it was convenient- it was refreshing.

Okay. Time to get up.

She sat up and stretched in an attempt to relieve her muscles of their stiffness. She hadnt really expected to fall asleep, so she hadnt bothered to remove her black leather armor. It didnt make for the most comfortable of sleeping gear.

She shoved her boney feet into her boots (she had at least thought to remove them before bed) and laced them up before turning to Zadora. The paladin's thick black hair had spilled out of it's usual bun and onto her pillow. It looked nice that way, Reyvan decided. It made her look properly relaxed for once.

Helothannin woke up in the same position he'd fallen asleep in - flat on his back, arms over his head.

He sat up and stretched, counting himself lucky he didn't recall dreaming any last night.

Still...

Noamuth was awake, and looking at him.

"I wasn't talking in my sleep, was I?"

From the confused look the lion gave him, Helo assumed he hadn't been. That was good.

Abruptly his stomach growled - he had eaten sparingly last night, and was paying for it this morning. It was definitely time to seek a proper meal; he stood and began to put away his bedroll, leaving his hair hanging in a mess around his face - THAT was a fight he would tackle later, when he was ready to leave with the others.

Grumbling, Dora had stubbornly rolled over and then pulled the blankets up to shield her eyes when the sun first struck them, leaving herself in the rather undignified but so very comfortable position Reyvan noticed her in. She knew she had to get up, get dressed, and continue on in her duty as a Hammer of the Light as she did every day, but she couldn't help the petulant, almost childish voice that rose in her head as it did every morning - "Can't you just stay in bed for a little bit longer, just this once?"

But, of course, the answer was always the same - "No." Grumbling to herself, the sound of Reyvan moving meant she had to get up now, which she did. Hauling herself up on her arms, she sat and allowed the bedroll to fall away from her chest as she rubbed stubbornly at her eyes, "Mornin'." The sound was mumbled and a little petulant as she reached for her undershirt, pulling it over the bra she slept in, then topping that with the thicker fabric used to lessen the chafing of her skin caused by her armor. Scooting out of bed, she then dressed her bottom half in the same fashion as her top - covering up her underwear with a thin layer of soft cloth and a thicker one of rougher, stronger material.

Looking to Rey, she sighed as she ran a hand through her hair and collected the tie that had come undone in her sleep and got tangled in the black locks, "How did you sleep...?" Sleep was an important, almost holy thing to her, and she engaged in it with all the fervor she did battle - of course, to sustain herself on the field, she needed to hit the hay and hit it hard, if she was going to use a silly saying. Though she could certainly see the value in sleeping in at least her under clothes, or even her armor if it was really necessary, and had done so on many night, whenever she was in a safe enough place to forgo those precautions she did it without a second thought. Getting comfort where she could find it was certainly not overrated in her book.

Another sigh escaped her as she whipped her hair back into the almost constant bun it stayed cocooned in, every hair finding its place without a fuss - Dora had certainly been doing this long enough that muscle memory knew exactly where errant hairs popped up and how to smooth them down. When she spoke, it was half to herself and half to Reyvan, as she was still waiting on a response to her first question, "We just need to collect Helo, get some breakfast, and we can get back out there... Sebastian too, if he's interested, I suppose."

Taking in a long, deep breath, the man looked down to the flask in hand, "Ah, good - I don't need to search for you." Without a second thought, he uncapped it it as he did the night before and pressed it to his lips. With a start, his entire body shook and shuddered, "Brrr, there we are! Good as new." He continued to shake his hands out a little more before standing to his feet.

Loyalty followed him upward, supporting his body weight as the steed came to all four hooves. Now upright, Sebastian placed the flask back within his satchel - hanging it from the steed's saddle. He pulled the loop of ribbon from his hair, straightening out the strands as he hummed silently. Even though his back had a crick, it didn't damper his normally sunny mood. With gentle fingers he tied the ribbon back into place, hanging his hair in a low ponytail on his back - floofing up was he called his "feathers" at the back of his head.

"Now, do I look presentable?" He questioned the horse, turning abruptly as he held his arms out to his side. The horse gave a snort, causing the man to chuckle, "Live with it - you won't see me in nobleman's clothing until my sister forces it upon me. So, get used to the armor." He gave Loyalty a playful swat before strutting inside the Druid's headquarters.

Reyvan
Reyvan looked away quickly when Zadora rose and began to dress. She'd forgotten that the paladin slept in her undergarmets- it had been dark enough last night not to matter. Of course there was nothing wrong with that- it certainly made more sence than sleeping in armor. But all the same, Rey was glad that her heart no longer pumped blood: if it did, she would no doubt be blushing. She had always been the modest type, and it didnt help that the paladin was so pretty under the all the metal.

Reyvan stiffened. Pretty? Oh, hell no Rey, she told herself furiously. Dont even go there.

She was busy chastising herself for stupid, useless thoughts when Zadora asked her a question. She turned and offered the paladin an awkward smile. "I slept pretty well actually. And you?"

While she waited for a reply, Reyvan stood and strapped her daggers back onto her belt.

Helo re-entered the building they'd eaten in the night before, still in the process of combing his hair back into the ponytail he usually wore it in.

Zadora and Reyvan weren't anywhere in sight, but Sebastian was there - he gave the male a nod in greeting as he began to retie the leather strip around his hair, stopping just inside the door suddenly enough that Noamuth ran into him.

"Oh hush," Helo muttered when the lion grumbled at him. "Watch where you're going."

The smile Dora returned was a bit crooked, due to the remnants of sleep clinging stubbornly to her mind, but happy all the same, "Wonderfully, thanks." Stretching now, she groaned and reached for the armor piled gently by her pillow, strapping each piece on in the same order as every other day. By the time she was done, with her helm tucked under her arm, the growl coming from her stomach assured her that it was time to eat right now, "We'll probably find the men in the mess, if you're ready."

Hoisting her bedroll on to her back, so she can strap it to Zaa's saddlebags as they walked past, Dora was quiet for a moment before a little blush tinged her cheeks, "Reyvan, do you think... Only if we ever have the spare time, of course." It was silly, really, what she was about to ask, she was a Paladin after all, her sword and the Light should see her through well enough, but... it never hurt to be prepared, "I'd like for you to teach me how to use daggers, if you didn't mind. I'm clumsy with them, which seems silly since I can wield a sword, but it's the truth."
