Reyvan unsheathed her daggers and nudged Arcaedion into a trot behind Zadora.

"Keep your head low, and don't mind anything whistling passed your ears," Helo called after the paladin, pulling his bow and quiver free.

He fitted four arrows to his string and drew the string back, taking careful aim. The elementals were busy fighting the druids, and would make nice and neat stationary targets for him to shoot at. Child's play.

Commanding Zaa with the grip of her knees on his sides, Zadora kept her head low as instructed and went to her work with a will, smiling every time a foul creature of Deathwing fell beneath her blade - these beings sullied the Light and brought nothing but pain to the world - putting them in their places was a personal joy of hers.

Daggers were not made for fighting from horseback. After sending her two throwing knives flying into two elementals, Reyvan lept from Arcaedions' back and to the ground to fight on foot. Meanwhile, the skeletal horse held his own, hooves smashing and horns skewering.

Helo sent half of his supply of arrows into the elementals, every shot finding its mark, then he reached into a bag and pulled out three small metal objects that looked much like very tiny bear traps.

He whispered a different string of words over each, causing the triggering mechanism in the middle of the traps to glow with contained magic - blue, red, and green. He deftly used his bowstring to launch the three traps just ahead of Reyvan and Zadora as a group of elementals surged toward them. Fire, ice, and snakes went everywhere when the traps detonated, and Helo chuckled as he began to place another arrow to his string.

Out of the corner of his eye he noticed an elemental coming up on his left. A quick mental command sent Noamuth charging at it with a roar; lion and elemental began to trade blows and a moment later Helo was assaulted with a confusing string of lion-thought:
"What is this thing? It looks like the rock I wanted to lay on - hey, when I scratch it it doesn't bleed! I can't even eat this thing! Dumb stupid rock, dumb- ow, hey, that hurt! Grrrr."

The elemental brought both arms over its head and then brought them down, intending to smash them over the lion's back. Noamuth darted aside and retaliated with a paw strike with his claws out; he struck the elemental's head and sent it bouncing away, leaving the body to fall apart in multiple pieces. For a moment the lion sat there, then he angrily batted away part of what had once been an arm with a triumphant "dumb rock-thing."

She couldn't help the laugh that escaped her when Helo's traps were sprang - it never failed to amuse her, the very strange methods Hunters used when they battled. But she couldn't claim that the traps weren't useful, and working together the three of them plus their small menagerie of animals made it to the goal with nothing but a scratch or two to show for it. But now, as she introduced herself to the nearest Druids, Dora's blood was thrumming with the thrill and the heat of battle - now that they were here, she wanted to get her assignments and get her behind back out there.

Once the battle ended, Reyvan immediately turned to Arcaedion, smiling proudly at him. She pulled a sugar cube from one of her pockets and let him lap it up while she looked him over for injuries.

With Noamuth trotting along behind, Helo urged Telon after the women and then continued on toward the capital.

First thing he'd need to do is look into buying bundles of arrows...he was always very careful about every arrow finding its mark, and he retrieved and salvaged the ones he could (and he had even put in the effort to learn how to cut, smooth, and fletch arrows himself) but if he was heading into what amounted to a warzone, he would need as many as he could reasonably carry.

Finally entering the building, Dora smiled softly as she looked around - Night Elf architecture was always so pretty, if a little too... floaty for her tastes. Searching silently for the person who looked to be in charge, Dora offered Zaa an apple from her pocket while she waited for the others.

Satisfied that her horse had made it through the fight unscathed, Reyvan led him into the building after Zadora. She looked around curiously.

((Sorry if my posts are a bit lacking in detail right now. I've never been to Hyjal, so I'm having a bit of trouble picturing it.))
