Sebastian had been busy staring at the sky as everything were unfolding, noting particular clouds as they passed by. He felt Loyalty snort suddenly, the steed's entire body suddenly shaking to get the man's attention. With a "hm?" he looked down, noting that Helo had strung his bow - and now the three wolven-like figures that moved quickly toward them. He blinked, "Well, that's not surprising in the least." His eyes looked lazy as he slipped his arm back toward his axe, pouting in jest, "We never get greeted with flowers or gifts anymore." (( Well, bullocks. I logged out to sign right back in under the wrong account. Apologies. =\ ) Edited by Malorin, Apr 10 2011, 12:38 PM.

"Fire," was the instantaneous response. The worgen of the Alliance took pains to make it clear they were not hostile, and these creatures were doing anything but. This battle was one she would take on foot - swinging herself off of Zaa, she moved in front of him, separating him from the rabid creatures. Sword and shield at the ready, she took one of the creatures at full power, grunting only a little as it slammed itself into her shield. The pained yelp from one told her that Helo's arrow had found the mark, and in an instant her own sword was bloodied with the creature's life as well. |

"If it's not one thing it's another," Helo remarked dryly, taking aim and letting fly with an arrow. His shot sank deeply into a shoulder - worgen ran strangely on all fours, taking aim at them was odd. "Noamuth, go," he ordered, aiming again at the one he'd just shot. Abruptly he changed his mind when it reached Zadora and collided with her shield, instead picking one of the other remaining two and shooting; Noamuth sensed the change of target and dove at the creature, tripping it up and sending both of them to the ground in a snarling furry tangle. |

Following Dora's lead, Reyvan swung off of her horse and slowly approached the attacking worgen. When one of them charged at her, she dodged nimbley to the side before launching herself at the creature from behind, daggers burrowing into flesh. |

Giving it a few moments, he finally slipped from Loyalty's saddle - sauntering slowly into the fray. Twisting his axe handle, it unlatched from his back as he took it into hand, "Drooling muts ..." He yawned, before taking note of several beings locked in cages a few paces from them, "Oh, hey - would you look at that?" He called to the women, slinging his axe upward to casually clobber a charging feral Worgen, "It looks as if they've taken prisoners." Looking around, he noted their attackers were in numbers ( as they seem to be just about everywhere else in this blasted place ). Though, several of them were busy burning what looked to be a shrine. Humming silently in curiosity, Sebastian heard one of the caged prisoners yell something about "confiscating" bottled essences from the Worgen. As he bent to the one he had knocked unconscious, he noted a vial peeking from a small satchel. "Helothannin!" Sebastian yelled back to the other elf, "What is this stuff? Seems their prisoners are interested in it." He picked the vial up, dangling it closely in front of his face. |

By now, it was a good thing not much fazed Zadora anymore. There wasn't much of anything she could see that she hadn't already, so the question of why feral animals were carrying satchels and little vials didn't even occur to her. As they defeated the ones that had been attacking them, Dora quietly asked Reyvan to watch their backs while she kept an eye forward, so the men could have their discussion. |

With the worgen taken care of, Helo hung his bow off his saddlehorn and swung down off of Telon, striding up to Sebastian and taking the vial from him. He studied it the best he could - to his eyes, it was a vial of dull, dark gray sand - but then sighed and popped off the stopper...and immediately turned his head from the sickly sweet smell that wafted out of it. "Oh my, that's...something," he said, blowing out a deep breath. Grimacing, he turned his face back forward and dumped a small amount of it out into his palm, rubbing it around with a thumb. "Perhaps an offering that was meant for this shrine? But then, that doesn't explain why the worgen are attempting to destroy it." And then, something Sebastian had said clicked. "Wait, you said prisoners? What are we worrying about this for then?" Helo dumped the sand-like crud out of his palm and wiped his hand clean on the grass before putting the stopper back in the vial. "Let's free those prisoners." |

Reyvan surveyed the sorrounding territory, silently wishing that there were no need for such caution. |

Sebastian watched the hunter hurry away, looking down to were he had deposited the residue, "Ah, I guess that would be important then - wouldn't it?" He said airily, standing to his feet. He honestly hadn't thought of it, mainly because they had made a request - rather than ask to be freed. Though, Sebastian's mind often didn't work properly. Trodding after Helothannin, he stopped to pick up vials along the way, tucking them into his bags. After all, he couldn't allow a request to go unfilled, "They must be sentient in some form." He spoke from behind the elf, "If they can cage up several people." His eyes moved back to the "feral" acting Worgen, "I wonder where we are exactly." |

"They've got to be working for someone else," was the only explanation Dora could come up with. She'd spent quite some time with worgen since they joined the Alliance, and though she was by far no expert, she knew it was only those that had learned to control their curse that truly had the capability to organize such things - there were perks to knowing a Night Elf, to be sure, "This is far too organized otherwise." |
