Helo stood and returned the few uneaten berries to his pouch, then pulled his polearm from his back and held it ready. If whatever the dragon was about to reveal attacked them, he hoped the dragon would have the good sense to see to its own safety first...he would hate to see the lovely little creature harmed because it helped them. |

When the little creature suddenly flitted high into the sky, Dora thrust her shield forward and up from long trained habit. Luckily, the dagger that had been moving for her head was deflected harmlessly by the metal barrier in front of her and she twisted, slamming it forward again, smacking the attacker right in the face with it - she couldn't stand people who fought dirty. |

Reyvan ducked right, then launched herself sideways toward the attacker, swinging her daggers up toward his throat. |

Helo saw the flash of the dagger before the attacker came into view. It was a human - male, bald on top though he wore a goatee (dark-haired, then) and was wearing heavy robes that were dark-colored, with lighter areas that looked as though the hem of the robe itself was on fire. Zadora's shield deflected the dagger high into the air and Helo tracked its descent, then swung the polearm out and over their heads to deflect the dagger again harmlessly wide and out to the side. "Noamuth, retrieve that," he ordered, slamming the blade of the polearm into the grass to free his hands to draw his bow. A moment later the lion spat the dagger at Helo's feet, then looked up at him expectantly. "Just hold for now," the elf said after a moment, lowering his bow but keeping an arrow notched to the string. He had no idea how the cultist may retaliate, and until he knew that he did not feel comfortable firing around Zadora or Reyvan. |

Honestly, she didn't plan on letting him retaliate. Launching herself forward, she smashed him in the face with her shield yet again, intending on making him go down and go down fast. |

Seeing as he was stunned by Zadora's blows, Reyvan had no trouble flattening the attacker to the ground and placeing her knife at his throat. "I'd stay very still if I were you," she hissed at him. |

"Nice catch," Helo murmured under his breath. He bent and picked up the dagger, and frowned when he felt the twinges of dark magic in it - he had no idea what it might be, but he would definitely be careful about where he stuck this blade. He ended up slipping it into his belt before striding up behind Reyvan and carefully waving at the faerie dragon watching from several yards away. "Thank you. If you see any others, please tell us." Then, he turned his glare down on the cultist flat on his back on the ground. "And now what to do with you." |

The cultist was full of glares and narrowed eyes - he was trying to be tough, but Dora knew he would break. They all do eventually. |

"Perhaps we should take him to the druids," Reyvan suggested, never taking her eyes off her captive, "They'd know better than us what information they need to glean from this guy."
