It's Like an Anthill...; On the road to Orgrimmar.

Ipsa wasn't sure how much time she had spent staring at the orc city of Orgrimmar. It was almost too much to take in; her mind had long since gone numb to the full impact of its outer wall, and begun to focus on tiny, incongruous details like the small green figures at the height of the thing, laying wooden beams, to a green shaman pouring water for thirsty workers, to the blue and green and pink forms that swarmed its entrance and the path into the structure. It was busier than any trade fair or town she'd ever seen. How did anyone find anything? Why would anyone live like that? She began to regret coming here and bypassing Thunder Bluff, which she assumed was more managable.

Well, there was no help for it. Ipsa pinned her ears back, fixed her gaze firmly on the ground, and set off into the mess. If she saw feet, she would step around them. If she didn't... ...then she didn't.

It was with a sneer on her face that the undead whirled around to yell, incensed when some brainless idiot dared to knock into the satchel she was carrying at her side, "Watch where you're going!" As her eyes landed on the culprit, her sneer grew even more pronounced, "... Cow."

Ipsa opened her mouth to apologize as she bumped in to someone carrying a thing that smelled truly foul, and closed her mouth again as she regarded her victim. She'd heard stories of the undead, and seen some at a distance on her way, but up close, it was...

...deeply unsettling was what it was. For one, the smell came from it, not its parcel. For another, it was rude. Ipsa flattened her ears, the rest of her expression not changing. "I am sorry," she said formally. "It was an accident." Keeping her eyes on the creature, the Tauren carefully moved to pass it by - and stepped very deliberately on one frail foot as she went.

In less than three seconds, Daire had her bag off her shoulder, gripped in two hands, and swung in an arc, smirking as it connected solidly with the back of the big, stupid brute in front of her, "Watch yourself, cow." Jerking her foot away from the other creature, Daire's smirk grew pronouncedly darker as pale magic gathered in one hand, "You'll find Orgimmar ain't near as friendly as the pastures you come from."

Ipsa didn't even flinch at the impact, having anticipated something of the sort. She did turn, though, at the insult, just in time to see that magic gather. The Tauren decided that pulling her mace from its belt-loop would be prudent, and did so. "I don't come from a pasture," Ipsa said, deceptively mild. "Perhaps you had better return to the house you died in, though." She was vaguely familiar with cemeteries, but saw no sense in them. People were buried at home.

Daire

Well... that happened to be the wrong thing to say. As good as Daire was at dishing out insults, receiving them did nothing but piss her off - especially when they were directed at her current... status. The glow in her hands grew brighter, though there was no sign on her face that the use of holy magic was hurting her, as it always did, "Let's take it outside."

Yet again, her irritation that the magical barriers around the city stopped duels from taking place within rose up in her - pointless mother-henning on the part of the leadership, she thought.

Ipsa looked at the undead for a long time - insultingly long, really. She was giving full consideration to the fact that apparently the creature wouldn't attack her unless she did take it outside, and the likelihood of her defeat, as it seemed capable in whatever spirits still answered its call. Still, she had her pride as a Salt Woman, as well as no small amount of irritation for her own sake.

Still, her pride would take a worse beating if she were defeated than it would by refusing to fight. "...I will not waste my time so," she said levelly.

It was a smirk that rose to Daire's face then, coupled with a dry, sarcastic laugh, "Cow's scared, huh? Weak, ain't'cha?"

Ipsa's gaze dipped toward the corpse's damaged feet, one ear flicking forward deliberately. "I will not be taunted, corpse. Find someone else to spread your taint to." It was a shot in the dark - Ipsa thought the wild tales she'd heard of the undead plagues had to be exaggerated. Squaring her shoulders, because undoubtedly the thing was going to hit her again, Ipsa began to walk away.

Sneering, Daire didn't let her get that far, reaching out the uninjured foot and hooking it around one of the big, dumb brute's ankles - let's see how tough she felt flat on her back, "If I wanted you poisoned, it would be done already, cow."
