(( <-- Sebastian ) Character Information Character Name: Malorin Al'Tharim Gender: Male Race, Class, and Spec: Night Elf|Rogue|Assassination Appearance: ![]() History: Since he could remember, Malorin has been on the run from nothing. He couldn't tell you the names of his parents, or where he came from - the only memories that serve prominent are of his long days training in secrecy, building him into the rogue he is now; and of a sister who had long left his side years ago. Try as he might his early years are shrouded in a mist that won't clear, which has left him bitter for the years lost. However, his Shan'do eagerly utilized his frustration to turn him into a top-notch fighter, teaching him to be emotionally detached from anything and everyone. In his adult years, he's found himself to be strong supporter of Arch Druid Fandral Staghelm and his displeasure of Tyrande's leadership. Often getting himself involved in heated debates within his own race and circle. He's managed, however, to change a good amount of "open door" views many of his people had begun to develop since their relationship with the races of the Alliance had begun. However, majority quickly silenced his motion for Night Elf supremacy, and he found himself removed from Teldrassil and Darnassus (for disruption of order). Fate oddly landed him in Ashenvale to defend against the encroaching Warsong Orcs. For several years now, he's found the forest home and the battle to be his own. Luckily the warriors and sentinels felt similar to him, regardless of accepting outside help from the Alliance when things became rough. Through his joint efforts with adventurers, he became a little more trusting of his human allies - however, he still finds trusting dwarves and gnomes a difficult task. Since The Shattering he's found himself venturing to Stormwind more often than he would have ever dreamed to. Personality: Malorin is normally stoic and cynical. He's often silent, taking pleasure in observing those around him rather than engaging one-hundred percent. Often described as cold and distant, he usually finds himself dissimilar to anyone he could call a comrad. The elf accurately displays his race's xenophobic nature, and often places himself superior over another race on pure disdain alone. Likes: [Minimum 3] -Respect -Silence -Leather -Sharp objects, in general -A nice voice -Being lazy (if he can get away with it) Dislikes: [Minimum 3] -Loud, obnoxious people -Complaining -Being forced to do ... anything -Being talked down to Probable Allies: He tries hard to play nice with his Alliance allies, and any other neutral party. He's made decent strides to be something of the word "friendly". Probable Enemies: Anyone who would oppose the Kaldorei, attempt to enslave the world, perhaps ruin his quiet afternoons alone. Or anyone who generally pisses him off, really. Sample Post: Malorin stood within the crowded Trade District of Stormwind City, a scowl planted upon his features. If anyone had stopped to look at him, they would surely be frightened by his expression. He could feel his heart race as his palms began to sweat - he hated this intermingling. Had the foot traffic been slower, he'd have been less tense, but that wasn't the case for a busy Saturday. "Of all the days I choose to come to this Elune-forsaken city ..." He grumbled, pushing through the shorter figures. He would cringe as each body touched his own, this causing him to dance awkwardly down the cobbled street as he tried his best to avoid contact. Why he submitted himself to this torture were beyond him at this point. No matter how hard he tried, he couldn't help but feel angered in this situation - even if he did refer to these short, pink people as allies (reluctantly). However, the torture wouldn't be for much longer as he strived to find a quite place to settle himself. Rounding a corner into a back alleyway, he heaved a sigh of relief, "Damnit. Noisy, loud ... unbearable." He hissed, plopping his form to the ground. Pressing a hand to his chest, he leaned his head back against the wall - he needed to rest. Misc. Information: He naps ... A LOT. He can often be found awkwardly placed in different areas. Also, he doesn't hate the Alliance as much as he's made out to, but he will often start superiority battles. Timezone: EST Did you read the rules? Hi, Tirion - again! (( I've decided to go with my character that's a stark contrast to Sebastian, just in attempt to flesh him out some more. He doesn't get aired out all too often and I'd like to develop him a little more! ) |
