David [2,L]: Hah! (Miranda appears at [5,L].) Miranda: . . . David: Hmph! YAAA! Miranda: Your technique with the lance has power, but it also appears to be completely reckless and unrefined. David: What?! (He turns to [2,R].) David: Who do you think you are, and why are you interrupting my training? Miranda: There's no need to be so rude, sir knight. David: Still, I didn't ask for any critique of my lance thrust, miss. Miranda: It's completely irrelevant if you did or not; it definitely could use some improvement. How long have you been a knight, anyway? David: I've been training like this every day since the day I became a squire! I've continued to do so for the seven years since then! Miranda: You've not been a knight for that long, then. How about I offer you some advice? David: Ha! What could a clearly young rookie as yourself possibly have to offer to me? Miranda: For your information, I was second-in-command of a highly effective unit. I'm also probably older than you are, knight. David: It matters not! General Diego was my teacher, and he's one of the finest knights from the world over! I don't care who you fought under; there's no way that whatever two-bit general you served could ever surpass him! Miranda: Now, I care not what you say about me, but I will not brook any insult to General Roderick; he was the greatest commander that I ever fought with! David: Of course! That must be why he fell in battle against our superior numbers, right? Miranda: That's does it! Until you learn to show some decency toward a fellow soldier, I'm leaving! (Miranda leaves.) David: Tch, maybe I went a tad too far there. Well, I can't do anything about it now; back to practice I go! (David turns to [2,L].) David: HYAAAA! A Man of Style and Taste Posts: 807 Group: Admin Member #2 Joined: March 28, 2007	Pretty good. There's a bit of choppiness in the dialog that we might want to work out later, but overall it's quite good. It conveys the tension really well and a lot of character comes through. It also really seems like a C support.

Though I notice that the use of the phrase "it matters not" from David contradicts the trend in his diction. Miranda can get away with it, since she seems a bit more proper, but David seems to be less eloquent a speaker, and more direct with his wording. But, like I said, good support. =P

Like there's a chance in Hell that this thing'll be finished. Banzai's abandoned it months ago, and the only people left are Me, Kenshin, ELS, and Zora. And since I don't do anything, we're pretty much boned unless some newcomers make their way here.

Hopefully with some fresh faces and talent, we can pull this thing together...

Anyway, what we really need is a programmer that won't try to seize control of the project and won't disappear for months at a time. Also, I'm probably going to be writing a lot more now; school is winding down for me. As such, I'll probably write in between matches and rounds of Gears of War 2. Also, keep in mind that I won't write the next in a sequence without some feedback and criticism. David/Miranda B Support [David starts at (2,R), and Miranda is at (5,L).] David: You again! Miranda: However, there is something else you need to do to fully make it up to me. David: Hold on a minute! We never-- Miranda: No buts. I want you to practice under me. David: And why would I possibly want to do that?! Miranda: Any good knight needs to be prepared for everything they come across. You do want to be as great as General Diego someday, yes? David: All right, dame knight. I will study under you, as much as I don't believe that I need to. What is your name? Miranda: I am Miranda, but you will refer to me as Dame Miranda when you speak to me. Are we clear on that? David: Whatever you say, Dame Miranda. As for me, I am Sir David, knight of Rayon. Miranda: Thank you for your understanding, David. David: Now that we're introduced, let's get right to it! There's no time to waste! Miranda: Excellent. There are a few weak points, but I'll have to look at it sometime when I don't have a pounding headache to give a serious critique. EDIT: I've been working on getting all our information organized whenever I have free time so that when we do find a programmer, there's no time spent messing around looking for the information they need. The one thing we have is time. There's no dead line for us to finish this game. We can take as long as we need. As long as just a few of us stick around and put the occasional bit of effort in, this thing will get done. Edited by Kenshin, May 30 2009, 08:49 PM.
