Okay, I just finished uploading this onto my compy...This is my first attempt at doing realism so try not to mock me too much... Anyway, this is a drawing of Vincent Valentine from FFVII! Please comment: (But try not to be too hard)

EDIT-

I think you did rather nicely on it. :] If you want some advice, don't be afraid to get in the heavy darks where ever they are needed. Having as many shades and darks is what makes it more realistic. ^^ Other than that, I think it's great.

I'd say that looks great! But... the hair doesn't really seem to match. The shading on the face is wonderful, but the hair looks sketchy and flat. It also looks little bit lopsided, but that might just be the angle I'm looking at it from. Overall, it's wonderful, especially if it's your first attempt at the style.

Thanks xAngelicShadowx! It is actually much darker in real life, the scanner just brightened it up...

Here is what I plan on trying to draw next:

(In realism style of course)

It will be MUCH better than this, simply because I learned a great deal about realism on my first attempt.

EDIT-

Thanks D-Dog!

Yeah it is a little lopsided, but that is from the scanner. I had to hold the lid down in order for it to work and it kind of tilted my sketch book..
