Ooo, I love the "Paper Lantern" one. That one stood out to me when I looked at it at ZU. What did you color it with; pencils? The Eye is really cool too! I guess I should try and be darker with my drawings... As for the wild cherry pepsi can; that must have taken some time too! it is really nice, what did you color it with? It kind of looks like a mix of colored pencils and pastels...but it could just be my computer settings. |

Thank you, it's one of my favorites too. ^^ I used prisma colored pencil plus a gray crayola pencil. And for it to look smooth I used a colorless blender and blending stumps. And thank you. The Eye one was done in both graphic pencil and colored pencil, it was hard. XD As for my can, I used acrylic paint, prisma colored pencil, some what pen and graphite pencils. It probably is just your computer settings, that and my scanner killed it, I think. It looks a lot better in person, but then again, all three look better in person. ^^ |

I am new to some of these tools, so what exactly is a prisma pencil? Is that it's brand name? |

It's a brand name indeed. If you go to any art supply store, there's all sorts of different color pencil brands, each of them have different feels and such. So no two (or more) brands are the same. |

I see, well it that case I will specify what pencils I use next time I make a good drawing. I don't really get out much, so I do not believe I have ever been to an art store... |

Well, it makes it more professional as far as I've learned. And I see. I don't get out much either, the art stories and Hot Topic (and Spencers) are the only stores I truly know (besides the convenent stores). Aha. |

I can't stand going into Hot Topic nowadays, too many posers. Spencers is full of a bunch shallowparty goers usually, but I can tolerate going into it to an extent. I never knew they sold art supplies there though...Then again, I only buy wristbands and occasionally T-Shirts from them, so I do not look at much. Hmmm...I guess you could call "Barnes and Nobles" and "Books a Million" art stores, since they sell sketchbooks and other tools. But I have yet to actually buy from them... I really should get back on topic... |

Ahah. Not many posers are here as far as I know. I haven't been there in a VERY long time, but they don't sell art supplies. XD There's other stores that do though, like there's a place here called Michaels that's dedicated to only art supplies. I didn't know Barnes and Nobel sold sketch books and tools. Then again, haven't been to much places for a long time. Though I'm sure you can get them at any place like Wal-mart, Target and stuff like that. Try finding a Michaels as well, I don't know if it's a Nation wide store or not, but it doesn't hurt to look. |

I tend to overlook some places when I go out. I usally daydream when I am walking, so I do not pay much attention to stores and such. There may very well be a Michaels in the mall... As for my Sketchbook, yeah, I got it at walmart. It is almost full too, so it is almost time to get another one!! Yay! PS: Have you any other drawings to show? Any that you are working on? |

I don't go out enough anyways to notice much on stores either. Aha. I've been in need of a new sketch book, but oh well. Hopefully I'll get one for Christmas. XD I do have one work in progress, it's a concept thing for a friend of mine who's working on a comic series. The characters happen to be people that he knows very well, which I happen to be one of them. He asked me to create a signature move for his manga, and here's the concept sketch (which hopefully I'll get around to photoshoping it): ![]() The chains serve as the spine for two ice dragons, it's gonna be great once I finalize it. |

Ooooo, attacking chains! Very nice! Though something about the right arm seems a little...off. In the shoulder region I mean. But other then that, it is really nice! You must show this to me when it is shopped! |

Thank you. It was my friends idea for the chains, I just got more creative with them. x3 Yah, I know, it's bothering me too, but I'll be fixing that up in photoshop when I get the time to do so (and when I stop procrastinating XD). |
