Dalik Vriel's corpse, or rather what was left of it with a prosthetic head, laid across the pyre as Cade stood on the platform above. The crowd came to a stop, and remorse was poured into the air as he took a breath to speak.

"It is with deep regret that I stand before you today, as we have experienced a deep loss within our community. High Councilor Dalik Vriel died protecting the ideals that we hold dear to us, to seek out knowledge, and vanquish those who would enact tyranny upon the galaxy. I will with hold no information from the Order, as you all deserve the truth about what happened to the Jedi team. In a search for a Holocron created perhaps by a Jedi Knight's ancestor, the small group was ambushed by a group of Dark Jedi, one even referring to him as a Lord. Our fellow members were tortured, and forced to watch the death of Dalik Vriel, a brutal method used by Dark Jedi in attempt to create fear, and recruit others to their cause. Have no doubt, that these men and women will be apprehended and brought to Justice, but will be shown the full respect of the law, the key courtesy that separates our two groups, our two mindsets.

Master Vriel has left us in person, but his spirit will never depart. He lives on in the surviving members of that group, having sacrificed his last breath so that they may live. We will not allow this sacrifice to go un noticed, it is the corner stone of what we believe in, and what we should all strive to be. While this act of violence and cowardice may sting, it will never shatter our spirits, and we will be stronger because of it.

We must come together, right now, or we too will be destroyed."

Cade stepped back and allowed for any potential speakers to take the podium.

Jaina walks to the front and sighs and begins to speak.

"Master Dalik was a friend to us. He was my Master and he will be missed. His death will not be in vein. The ones who have done this...will be brought to justice and peace will be restored."

She walks off as she finishes speaking.

Aiden stands in the cold stone stairs, surrounding the pyre, looking at the ground, his head lowered in homage. The Jedi Knight, as opposed to the other Knights remained silent, without sharing a word.

His robed figure was unoticed between the crowd but his posture was of a brave warrior, backs straight arms steady behind his back, and his legs strenghtfully standing.

From time to time, he would deviate his glare to the Pyre, eyeing it for some seconds, but then returning to his frowning.

Hope places a hand on Aidens shoulder, as she glared without expression.

She spoke quietly.

'The order is in good hands.'

She dropped her hand to her side and turned to walk.

Narrander could only stand among the crowd. His hood was down, out of respect for the dead Master. He could only think about how he saw the body when it first arrived, and the sheer brutality of it's decapitation. Glancing around, he noted the sadness among many of the Jedi. He blinked slowly, bowing his head solemnly.

Upon Hope's action, Aiden looked into the flames, the sound of leather could be heard, for he was clentching his hand in a fist form with such strenght he would mark the palm of his hand. Some seconds after this, he relaxed his hand and nodded, murmuring to himself...

I know.

Erik Kroenen stood there emotionless. He had little connection to Dalik, and was simply there to give his respects. A shady figure moved past to drop a sack on the ground near the pyre and fled the scene.
