Absolutely beautiful day! So we were finally able to get some of the Z-Tribe members outside in the bunny run.

Here's Maurice, a bit timid at first, staying close to the "safe zone" called the carrier.

Here's a photo of the whole bunny run. My husband has really gotten it set up nice. Still have work to do, but the clover and grass are starting to come up.

Posted Image

Maurice looking at me and wondering it would be alright to just hop over to the other side. He didn't know but was definitely contemplating it.

Posted Image

Maurice enjoyed his first taste of fresh grass.

Posted Image

Didn't take Maurice long to start stretching his legs.

Posted Image

Amelia did well. She wasn't too keen on the motorcycle sounds she was hearing. Can't blame anyone for not getting out for bike ride on a day like this.

Posted Image

Was very curious of her surroundings.

Posted Image

Checking everything out in the enclosure

Posted Image

And even come running to me when I called.

Posted Image

Dobby enjoyed a romp while Willard enjoyed his most favorable hobby, digging.

Posted Image

Kreacher was like a black blur. Had an absolute ball running around.

Posted Image

Neville enjoyed the new tunnel my husband brought home for the Z-Tribe

Was great, as I was cleaning crates, brought the buns out and they really enjoyed themselves. So glad to see the big buns get a taste of the outside. Unfortunately the wind really kicked up so the girls didn't get a chance to get out. Hopefully the nice weather is to be here until Wednesday or Thursday. Maybe get them out for their first taste of Spring weather.

All had a good time. My husband and I are exhausted also being out in the nice weather. Truly was a great day!

Looks like you might need to 'upsize' a few structures (cute little house, tunnel) to fit big bunnies. But looks like it was a wonderful day!

This is just temporary for the big buns. They will have the whole backyard to run around in. And they can stay in the tent with us.

This was their first time out ever. We didn't want to truly overwhelm them, so the smaller bunny run worked out well. Just an introduction, and that introduction turned out very well. Both big buns had a ball. So did the little ones. They remembered. Especially Willard, with his "excavation" capability.

All in all, did all of us good to get outside. Absolutely beautiful day. Wonderful times had by all. Unfortunately today is supposed to be nicer, but got to go work.

btw: How was the vacation?

Your enclosure is awesome! I'm definitely jealous. I wish I could get that many bunnies out at one time.

The pictures are lovely. Some very happy bunnies there! Thanks for sharing.

Big bunnies! I got my current rabbits as babies and was told they were going to get to 8 pounds which is what I wanted. I love them to death but truly was hoping for big bunnies as they tend to be nicer.

My less-than-five-pound rabbits are very skittish because they are so small. I've worked with them their entire life and still don't have much luck with them being my best friends forever like my old rabbit. Oh well, maybe I'll just have to add a third bunny, preferably a mini-lop!

My husband did an excellent job on the enclosure. Just love having more than one out at a time. And the Z-Tribe likes it too. I just have to watch who I have out at the same time. Just have to monitor. You know how rabbits are.

They are still tired from Saturday. They have been very quiet Monday and this morning. They got a lot out of being outside. All doing well. Just relaxing now. Hopefully this weekend will be nice, will have Lilly by then, so hoping it's a nice weekend. It's supposed be sunny but cooler for the rest of week after this cold front today runs through. With snow flurries. Isn't it April? I don't know about you, but I surrender to Mother Nature. I thought she would be easier on us now. I guess I was wrong. lol

Hi Louie,

Big buns are nice. It all depends what you consider nicer. I like the difference of the big bun vs the little bun.

Definitely go for a Mini Lop. Very docile, sweet rabbit. I read your website about your sweetie.

Don't give up on your little ones. Takes a bit more to become BFF's but it is worth it. And very rewarding. At least that's how we look at it with the Z-Tribe.

I will echo that -- don't give up on your little ones. We have some very sweet docile little bunnies (and I've had at least one aggressive large angora). But even within a breed, I find a lot of temperament can be genetic -- do ASK a breeder about temperament of their lines.

Z - Vacation was very nice, thank you for asking. I'll put more in another string of 'chit-chat' rather than derailing this string.

I absolutely love my Hollands - almost all of them are very friendly and docile. Personalities are often genetic and early handling makes a huge difference as well (8 weeks and under). Keep working on them and see what you can do... but don't feel bad if they never become super sweet.

I got my rabbits out today. I actually JUST finished building them their run. For the first time since I got them, they were binkying the entire time and even climbing on me. Maybe they just needed to get out of their cage to be able to bond with me better. It's supposed to be beautiful all weekend!

Congratulations! You had a breakthrough. A change of scenery does a bunny good.

Have a awesome weekend with your buns! Hoping for nice weather this weekend too, buns and new pup need to have some fun outside!
