I know, it was amazing to be able to watch her! She started pulling fur right after I posted about her nesting craze, so I just stayed with her and she kindled soon after.

Here are a few photos from Day 1:

All full of milk. What more could a little baby ask for?

All look equally fed. Mom is doing fantastic.

Amazing how in one day how much peach fuzz appears.

Lovely kits. Do not see any coloring on points yet showing that California pattern. Will be interesting to see when it starts to develop.

Thanks so much NCK for posting updated pics.

Okay... I do not mean to post photos from every day of these kits' lives, but I just had to share one from today! You can start to see a sheen of soft white fur coming in.

ZRabbbits, I don't think their points will start to show until they are around a week old. It will be interesting to see!

Won't hear me complaining about seeing lots of cute baby pics! Keep them coming!

Lovely photo. Might be the lighting but do see a bit of color on that little one's nose. Love watching how rabbits patterns come in. Especially those that are hidden at birth or change as the rabbit matures. Fascinating to me.

Updated pictures! The kits are 6 days old and Leia is doing an excellent job taking care of them. You can definitely tell when it's close to feeding time - in the morning (shortly after they've been fed) they are pretty relaxed and content. In the evening, they are squirming all over the place and trying to suckle on my fingers and each other  !

Mom is definitely doing a bang up job. They all look good and see that the fur is starting to come in. The darkness at the nose must be lighting because I swear I see dark marks. But then again I'm looking for it. lol

Thanks so much for sharing their progress.
