Lovely babies! Colors are really starting to show. Can't wait to see how the Magpies develop. Saw some really lovely Magpie HL's. Also love the coloring of Baby #3. Plus love the little stripe he/she has on his face. KAZ |

Forgot to add, love Sonny's sweet face. With babies around, the parents always get pushed aside, lol. KAZ |

I'm in LOVE with baby three. Shes going to be gorgeous when she gets older. If she has a nice temperament, I think I'm going to keep her. I also really like baby five. I thought she was going to be all white, but her markings are pretty. If she was purebred, she'd have really good dutch markings. Baby four does have a tiny bit of white on her face. I am thinking dilute on her, but she has both blue and fawn. I've never seen a rabbit with blue and fawn on them. |

There's always one that keeps you guessing! Will be interesting to see what the kit actually turns out to be. Have fun with them! Because they do grow up fast and in no time will be off to their forever homes. KAZ |

She's going to be really pretty when shes older if she looks anything like that lionhead! I think I found a good home for one of the babies. She's interested in them. She is unemployed because of her health issues and is a fantastic artist. She has a big barn that she re-did and now holds art classes in it. She says that if she gets one, she'll keep him/her in the barn and litter train it. I know she will be a good bunny owner! NeuBunny, you know the little bit of fur around Sonny's neck and ears? Will he pass that on to the kits? |

In the group pic, #3 looks tort VM and #4 looks kind of like a cream (dilute orange) or blue tort. I would need more pictures both from the top and the belly, though. #3 has looked a lot like a tort all along to me, but I could be wrong. |

Tort looks like a good guess to me. What do you think about #5? |

Oh and any tips on getting the babies to stay still so I can get pictures of their "parts" and send them to Sidd so she can try and sex them for me? |

And even though none of my babies are all white, could some of them still open up blue eyes? |

yes -- with both parents vienna marked, there is a good chance of getting blue eyes. It's total chance though -- vienna marked bunnies get blue eyes if a 'white spot' happens to fall over the eye. 1 blue eye, and even a partial blue eye is possible. Sonny looks to be single-maned -- Mm. 50% chance (per kit) of him passing that on to his offspring. To get the true 'lionhead look' you have to have double mane (MM) -- with a mane gene coming from each parent. Good luck on getting wiggly kits to hold still. Helps a bit if you catch them right after they've been fed. |

Thanks. I tried a different method I saw online. Instead of looking at the spacing between the anus and vagina/penis, I looked for a slit or a dot. I THINK I have 3 does and 2 bucks. I marked the does and will check later on. |
