It's storming where I live. The rabbits are covered so they aren't getting too wet. They do love outside though and I'm afraid the thunder will stress Sadie out and she'll eat her babies or something. I know they do that to protect their babies and I don't want her to eat them.

If you are that scared for the babies, you can always bring in the nest box for the night.

Hopefully the storms passed, and Mom and kits are doing just fine.

Storms haven't ever bothered my mother rabbits. I've never had one decide to eat kits after they are a day old -- that usually happens with newborns.

Kits are fine - they snuggled deep in the back of the nest box under neath all the fur, hay, and straw. Mom is a little stressed out though. She is more aggressive today.

That will subside. Good mom just keeping an eye out which will make them more aggressive.

Glad to hear the kits were all snuggled in and protected from the storm.
