Hi everyone i was wondering how you all deal with the mosquitoes? Our rabbit shed is right beside a body of water (like 10 ft away) and walking into the rabbitry sounds like im in a bee hive theres so many mosquitoes.

How can I keep the rabbits safe and keep the mosquito numbers down?

DE and catnip, along with the backyard zapper. Plus going around making sure there is no standing water. It's tough for you as you have water 10 feet away, but is the water moving? If it is, mosquitos can't lay their eggs in moving water.

mosquito dunks in the water. If you hate pesticides, look for the ones that are a bacteria that kills mosquitos rather than chemical.

Garlic sprays work well inside the barn. They work outside too, but wash away too quickly (have to re-apply after every rain).
