Could be allergies. Know Amelia will show a bit of clear when she got her head buried in her hay. How young is the NZ? Did you just wean and how's the weather? If its humid like here, could be stress from the heat. Clear to me means allergies. Just observe and see if if snot turns color, or becomes more than just a little. If you feel you need to, can you move the younger one to the other side of the rabbitry to observe. Some would feel this is a "better safe than sorry" move. KAZ |

Clear and super thin sometimes happens with my bunnies when it's hot and humid or when they're stressed, but they don't sneeze. Just a little wetness under the nose? I would check to see if anything is causing it to sneeze... dust from hay/feed? |

I point to the pine shavings as the culprit. Must be very overwhelming and would irritate an outside rabbit. I think you will see a difference with the change of bedding. How's her bot fly bite? Could be a little stress showing too because of the larvae and being inside. My Flemish do sneeze or actually snort when clearing their nose. Amelia does it all the time. Drove me crazy for the first month worrying about her. She's still here, healthy, and will be a year old. Could be her clearing her nose of the overwhelming pine scent? KAZ |

I would suspect the pine too. Smells nice to us humans, but if it wasn't kiln dried thoroughly (and most sold as pet bedding isn't) it releases oils that irritate the respiratory tract. |
