I see a lot of adverts for Hotots these days. Most talk about crosses carrying the Hotot gene which shows a complete lack of understanding. Spotty rabbits are passed off as over marked Hotots and people believe this. But this one had to be the worst example. I wonder if it's a pet breeder trying to hike the price!

Hahaha, that's a little far fetched!!! Some Hotots do have additional markings (they're called "sports" I believe) or random spots on them, but yeah, that's just a black rabbit.

That is a pretty bad hotot there...lol. There is someone selling a couple of Californians as "new zealand whites" nearby these parts right now haha. Sometimes seeing this kind of stuff is too funny not to laugh at

Yes, I also saw an advert for silvers which said the doe's two week old litter has both silvers and smoke pearls in the litter ready for reserving. I'm not sure how they could tell they were silvers at that age! |
