Hey, look at you! You chatterbox you. Now you can request a new title! PM the Admin to do so

I bred a broken otter doe who carries chocolate to her nephew- a solid tort who also has a high chance of carrying chocolate himself. I know I have a broken chocolate tort (confirmed by the original breeders of the rabbits) but I have this kit who at first glance looks like a regular black based tort however, the color on it's limbs and belly are not what I have ever seen on a tort before (see pictures). The kit looks wonky in person in that it just does not completely fit the bill of a regular black tort. So, I'm wondering if it's a solid chocolate tort? I assume that just like with all torts, a chocolate tort can vary in degree of shading from light to dark?

Here is it's broken chocolate tort (torted otter?) sibling. I put the "?" by the torted otter because although it has milked dipped ears (white on ears), I believe I can see coloring inside the ears and sometimes I can't lol

So here is the suspected solid darker/richer chocolate tort:

See how the coloring on the front limbs looks a bit off? I have a video of it and the feet are a really dark chocolate color. Not sure how I can upload the video?

Update:
I took a picture of the suspected solid chocolate tort next to a darker tort half sibling and it quickly became obvious what color this little sucker is lol  :shy: :woot:
