I've been to 2 shows in Illinois this year. They're typically strong in competition, maybe not so much in numbers, but definitely solid in terms of quality.

It's normally anywhere from 400-600 miles each way for me depending on the site, but I give high marks to the IL shows and recommend them to anyone who can make the trips. :thumb:

Satins Rule- I wish I could say the same for Holland lops being judged here. :( I have never seen sick buns place until we showed here. But my BEW buck Blonco got his fist leg at a show here...so. :)

Sorry to hear that TDK. It's kind of been my experience that sick rabbits have placed, as sometimes it's easy to miss on the judges' part when there are alot of rabbits crossing the table. Not saying it's right or that what I said makes it any less aggravating, but it's when and how many rabbits pick up various sicknesses. That's liable to happen at any show.

I have no idea when I would be going. It's still a ways away. I'm a little scared about my rabbits catching something, though
