If really bad, brush right out a couple times then reapply and let it sit a day.

Well, my buck still smelled and didn't do to well this past weekend, but, I also took one of his son's and a daughter to show, and the son (a jr.) won BOV & BOB :bundance2: , while the daughter took BOV (or maybe opposite) in her category(I can't remember). As this was my first show, and with the exception of the Sr buck, I was pleased to say the least, especially that a rabbit I'd bred and raised was of sufficient quality to win his breed. In the "A" show that is. The "B" is another story and really drives home the fact that it's a judges opinion and they can differ.

I know this thread was started quiet a while ago, but wanted to say THANK YOU to all posters with tips. I have been wondering how I was going to get feet pads clean & urine stains clean for the upcoming show season in my area.

Just wanted to add that I had this problem at a show a few weekends ago. My best buck decided to spray on the way to the show. Hit the back of the window on the SUV and then seemed to land on every rabbit faced that way in the three carriers. I didn't have anything with me and ended up going to Wal-mart and getting a small containter of the tear stain remover for dogs ( moist pads) like $7. It didn't look like it was working and I wasn't sure what the fur would look like the following morning ( for the show) but it ended up working very well, and one of the broken does that got it the worst took BOV. In case you need something quick and easy and usually accessible I threw and extra container of them into my Show supply box, just in case. .

I use corn starch, but I apply it, then rub it out, and repeat the process for 3-4 days in a row in extreme cases. Either way, it works very well and is inexpensive to do.
