Are there any other aquarium hobbyists on here?

I have fancy fan tailed guppies & fantail goldfish.

They are so fun. I just re-added guppies as I had them a couple of years ago & they all died. :shy:

Just curious, they are so fun to watch!

Me and my boyfriend had purchased two beautiful butterfly koi They have gotten quite big lol. We also have a rainbow shark and a Red Tailed Tinfoil Barb. My friend also used to breed guppies and bala shark.

Of course ours were purchased from petsmart and aquarium world but i hope to one day get a pond and stock it with beautiful koi. Maybe not show fish though those cost even more than my bunnies lol :D

Koi do cost ALOT for show stuff, ridiculous if you ask me, but if you enjoy it, that's what counts, haha.

Here are some pics of my guppies taken on my cellphone, yes, they are in a completely empty tank. The stuff at the bottom is brine shrimp. I am picking up sand and stuff tomorrow for my guppies.

I used to have tons of guppies, they were a lot of fun. I sold most of them and eventually they died off, but I would enjoy keeping them again.

I used to be, had a whole tank of guppies, and then switched to a 80 gal and had quite the collection of aggressive fish.

I hope to when we find a more permanent house to purchase a 80 gal again and start over.

I'm currently learning about aquariams, since me and my Mam plan on getting my little brother one with some frogs and fish. They are actually a lot more complicated then I thought they'd be but seem like a lot of fun!

We use to always have fish then we moved and gave everything away and just never got them again. Although we have been looking into getting some of those aquatic frogs.

I love a pure white Betta. I used to have a male and female that didn't have the slightest hint of any other color, but they didn't last long. Any other colored Betta and it would've lived for years!

I used to have guppies, glo fish, mollies, neon tetras, gold fish, etc. I used to LOVE fish. I have two 10 gallon tanks and a 2.5 gallon tank. I am going to sell them though, maybe keep one if I have time but no promises. ;)

We use to raise angel fish. If you can get a mated pair, they will lay eggs seemingly forever and if you're really lucky you can hatch out the eggs and get them raised. It's not a simple process, as you have to remove the eggs to a tank with absolutely nothing in it, otherwise the young will fall into the gravel and die. You have to raise brine shrimp to feed them initially, and so on. It only takes one hatch to have more angel fish than you know what to do with. We sold to all the pet stores in the area, mostly for store credits. By the time we finally wound down, we had our main 50 gal tanks (which we still have), several 20 gals and a whole slew of 10 gal. No room in the house was without a fish tank or two. I believe the wife may have a goldfish or two now, but that's about it.

Used to keep freshwater aquaria. Haven't restarted since the cat got too clever a few years ago (fish disappeared one by one - no where else they could have gone!).

My family used to have a few fish tanks. Mostly Salt Water. If I ever have the time I'd love to have them again! Over the years we had Guppies, Oscars , Bettas, Clown Fish, Grammas, Tetras, Mollys, and a ton of others that I can't remember the names of. Besides the fish we had Crabs, Shrimp, Anemonies, Coral, Button Polyps, Mushrooms just to name a few. I remember going to the Fish Swapmeets and all the pretty fish. The prices on some of the fish were unbelievable!!
