Is that my rabbits genotype? Interesting. I will be saving this for future reference. I've only bred Irish Lass 3 times, and 2 of the litters were stretched but I think they were pink (probably rews). The litter that made it was all blacks. |

Yes that is what we know of your rabbits' genotype. The more breedings you do the more we will find out what recessives they carry. If you are trying to breed out the sable gene in a line use a REW. The offspring will have a gene from the parent with color & the REW. So if you get a chinchilla color it will be chin carrying REW, a sable will be sable carrying Rew, ect. |

Chocolate (self) - not chocolate otter, right? Update to your genotypes then Opi - Opal = AaBbC_ddEe Tea Cup - Black Otter, chocolate carrier = ataBbCcDdE_ |

Plain old Chocolate, yes. I made a post here asking to confirm my assumptions. Geeze, I know I really want a Chestnut from these two, but all the random varieties are really interesting! I have weird luck, and you have to admit it is luck. Compared to what I could have gotten, what I've gotten (the two above and the Blue Tort) I've been really lucky that they're showable. Thank you, I will update my little doc of their genotypes =) |
