For educational purposes.. is this a vienna marked tort otter?

She looks orange but how do you explain the small tint of black on her back, face and ears.

I would definitely say orange VM. Oranges vary in smut.. this one has a bit. Certainly not tort, though, as it is both too light and lacking in all tort shading.

Two different rabbits? They look similar.

Well, I wouldn't really call the other one smutty.. just has a bit. Yours appears to be extremely clean. Do you know her color background?

For comparison, I have a few torts on my website: http://shaydfields.weebly.com/bucks.html Just imagine any of those torts with otter markings. :P

Yes they are not the same rabbit, the first one is a rabbit from a shelter.
So i don't know her background.
But if you asked for mine, she has a blue vm dad and harlequin mother.

I've seen tort otters before but i thought she was one too, wasn't really sure.
And this is the reason why i posted her picture, for educational purposes to learn more about certain rare colors, especially shaded and shaded otters need more attention. :P

The fuzzy one is tort otter? The chestnut colorish look means he is chocolate?

I would say it's tort otter. A dark one. Definitely not chocolate tort otter.. choco torts are really light, they look a lot like an orange without the agouti markings.

Wow, reh, those barely have any shading at all! Very bizarre. Torts can vary so much.. I think that's what confuses people a lot of the time.
