Hi, Yay, i'm getting these 2 tomorrow, they are brothers and they stay in a shelter. I just want to make sure the lighter one is lilac, cause i've never seen a lilac in real life. I'm almost pretty sure it's lilac because it doesn't look blue and the eyes are unusually bright. Just need a confirm from you guys! ![]() ![]() ![]()

I think you have the Lilac correct. I think it is a self, but it kind of looks tort. Here is a link to Rabbitcolors showing (self) lilac. Lilac Here is a link showing lilac tort. LilacTort |

looks regular self lilac to me. The interesting one is the bluish tinge on the chocolate's face. |

Yay, i'm so happy! Now i'm able to start my chocolate project! I already have a chocolate doe so she will be bred by one of the 2 brothers. But which one should i use first? Who looks better in your opinion? The lilac looks to have a blockier head or not? Here is my choc doe in the front, she lost a lot of fur during the winter but she is looking better every day. ![]() Edited by Disney, Mar 1 2013, 02:07 PM.

Yup, a choco and a lilac. The lilac does look a little funky, but rather than being a lilac tort it looks like he just is a bit sunburned/needs to molt/has pee face. Very attractive bucks! I would wait until you get them to choose which one to breed your doe to first. |
