Does anyone have any tips for those IMPOSSIBLE does? I have a doe that has never had a litter. She will be 1 year old on the 20th. She is a VALUEABLE Holland Lop and I would LOVE to FINALLY get a litter out of her. I have tried for almost 6 months to get her bred and nothing... :/ She just keeps missing. I've tried ACV and anythign I can think of. Any ideas?

I would almost bet it has to do with winter. Now that spring is close you should have better luck with her. I wouldn't give up till fall comes.

I would try putting her in the bucks cage and the buck in her cage for a couple days. I would also keep the light on for a couple nights. Then take her for a car ride. All these should help get her in the mood.

she is currently in the bucks cage and the buck in hers. The light is on all night and turns itself off in the daytime. And I took her to a show. She lifts fine, I just can't get her to take. :'(

Oh I see. Do you have a different buck to try her with.? She may be sterile or the buck might be sterile, have you tried him with a different doe?

Gilroy is 3 1/2. It's been about 8 months since his last babies were born.

I read somewhere that doe's usually have trouble getting pregnant when they have a lot of fat mass around their ovaries..
Maybe put her on a hay diet and have her exercise daily for a month?

She is currently on a diet. She's not overweight by any means but I like diet couldn't hurt anything.

Yes, I'm definitely considering her being sterile...

I just saw this thread and thought id add my 2 cents worth, I colony raise rabbits I used to have a terrible at getting rabbits bred and when i did get them bred the rabbits would only have 4-5 bunnies at a time now i get batches 8-10 and these are rex rabbits my guess is part of the problem is exercise if at all possible see if you cant get her in a good sized pen, the other thing ive started to give my rabbits is small amounts of organic soybean meal and i have never had anything work better than that i have not had one doe not get bred while feeding them that, this spring i didnt have any does breed but after about two weeks of giving them small amounts of the soy i had ever doe breed , just a note on the side dont feed soy bean meal to bucks from just a little of the research ive done soy gives out female boosting hormone also soy bean meal is like 30% protein so it might help with peanut bunnies hope this helps Phil
