I had my blue buck Luke for around 2 years. I tried breeding him oh at least 5 times probably or like 7 or 8 times, and he never produced anything when bred. We tried him with three different does before deciding to sell him as a pet. On a whim we bred him to our broken blue doe right before we sold him, hoping it would settle both the buck and the doe down as they were both being feisty at the show. Now my doe has pulled fur and about to kindle! Ughhh I gave him multiple chances before giving up and now a first time doe takes! oh well I sure hope she has some healthy live kits, because they are all were going to get from him

They always seem to think of new tricks! Crafty rabbits. I'm crossing my fingers and toes that she does well and has lots of healthy, adorable babies for you! Let us know how it goes. |

frustrating that. I've had it too though. young buck, used him on multiple does for three months...nary a kit. Sold him and then I had a singleton born... survived to six weeks and then dropped dead. I've since learned...if they don't breed well there's probably a reason for it. (as in a genetic component). |
