My husband got a case of "cabin fever" after such a nice morning, so we left the buns, all fast asleep, with the bunny watcher in charge, and took a ride to TSC. We both needed jeans, plus wanted to look if TSC carried papaya. Running low and it does help with wool block and fur ingestion for the Z-Tribe.

We both love walking around that place. Plus the staff is very friendly and helpful. One place we always stop is the magazine and book section. My husband got my Bob Bennett, "Raising Rabbits" book there. Also I've gotten a few Rabbit USA issues there as well.

We did come across another Bob Bennett book, " Rabbit Housing". It has given my husband some really good ideas about the outside rabbit set up being incorporated with our new shed. I just love his idea. Have already ordered catalog from Bass and KW Cages. Tried Klubertanz but could not order the catalog so will call their 800 number. I have read both Bass and Klubertanz are good companies to order supplies to build crates? TSC does supply equipment but read to watch their wire?

Plus another good magazine we found was Grit Barnyard Series, "Guide to Backyard Rabbits". It does leans toward meat breeds, but also talks about showing. Has some really good rabbit recipes in it. But it does have a lot of good ideas about nutrition. One article is about herbs. Echinacea acts as an immune-system balancer and not simply as an immune system stimulant. E. purpurea is a herb nearly everybody can grow in their backyard. I'm really going to look into this.

Very productive day. Plans developing and moving in the right direction for ZRabbits. Slow and steady, and staying the course.

Can't wait to get the catalogs! I love watching my husband plan and he's just so handy. I know he will do an excellent job. Will have to do a "work in progress" photos like I did with his lovey garden/bunny run.

My husband and I, as we were out watching the Z-Tribe exercise, started our plans to where we would set this Shed/Rabbitry/Greenhouse at. Also my husband has started his drawing of it. It's going to be a major project for us, and will take a couple years to BECOME, but my husband's "IDEA" is fitting perfectly. This type of "planning and building" gives him peace of mind. Something both of us need after such a devastating loss of our Son.

The TSC nearest us is more in tune with 'horse' people. Some rabbit stuff, but not much. When we go further south, then we hit TSC with rabbit stuff.

But the one nearest us, the employees are so nice and helpful, and can help us find things we need for our rabbits. And can even order it if we like. And they have even directed my husband to a competitor because they carry the supply we need. That's how professional the TSC employees are.

They got my business.

And regarding bunny magazines, they (TSC) only carry a few. And if I really want a magazine, I'll search on line and then order.

Thanks so much Phil. Truly appreciate your input and now I know that I'm going down the right path. I've already ordered catalogs from both.

Do you feel one is better than the other, regarding delivery, customer service? Would appreciate your input. Thanks!
