Very exciting, I hope it goes well! How many babies do Dutch generally have? When I hear of them in my area it's usually quite a few but I was curious if that was the norm.

I couldn't help myself, lol. Looked it up. Average litter is 5, but there are does that have 9 or even 11.

Wishing you all the luck with your first timers.

Bronwen had four kits on the wire and by the time I got home, they were dead, sadly.

Deja kindled while I was feeding and watering yesterday, she had five black kits, three are potentially showable, two have obvious elbow drags, pics coming soon.

I rebred Malibu, as she didn't feel pregnant, she lifted, Chai feels pregnant and is due on the 7th, fingers crossed. And one more litter due on the 10th.

My condolences on your loss of Bronwen's kits. Hopefully the next time she'll have them in a nestbox. Sorry if you already stated, but is this her first litter? Though this was a sad outcome, you know she can produce a litter.

Congratulations on Deja's litter, with three potentials. BTW, what is elbow drags?

Fingers crossed for Malibu and Chai. Also the doe due on the 10th.
