I found a very excellent article called:

Administration of Drugs, the Conformation of the Rabbit body can be misleading,
Written by: Esther van Praag, Ph.D

(To read the full article, please go to MediRabbit)

One of the causes of over medication of rabbits is the lack of the knowledge by Veterarians in knowing a rabbit's body type. After reading the story of "Bunny" (Oct. 2011), it dawned on me that, that was one of the questions I need to ask any Vet that will examine the Z-Tribe. Does he know the body type to make a true determination if obese or if a rabbit is anorexic (as it is on Fawkes paperwork)? Fawkes ate like a horse up until Thursday morning, when I noticed him being a "bit" off. Or was the Vet afraid of Fawkes? Because Fawkes always showed his gentle side with Vets and Vet Assistants.

Definitely something important to know. So all those questions of "what is my rabbit", keep asking them or just go to this article and look at the examples given on body type.

Definitely on the list of questions to ask any Rabbit Savvy Vet who looks at the Z-Tribe.
