Perhaps more a question or a rant than an affair. Recently a man, born in NZ but brought up and educated in Australia, and living there all his life, was deported to New Zealand after completion of a prison sentence for some incestual crime with his daughter. The Australian authorities and courts, to which he appealed having all his relatives and support people in Australia, decided he was a threat to Australian safety, so he has been returned to NZ. This seems quite wrong to me and something the international community ought to deal with. It's hardly been NZ's fault that he turned out wrong, so why should we have to deal with the problems of another country? Does this happen very often? I suppose he had never taken out Australian citizenship though he must have been a permanent resident. Edited by Caro, Jan 28 2014, 07:44 PM.

Hi all,the same here Caro,no one could blame the UK for his offences either. He was ten yoa when he left here and they booted him out too,IMHO they taught him evil ways themselves.Britain on the other hand seems to struggle to get rid of even the slug belly lowlifes that commit thousands of different types of criminal acts.Just look at the Quata and Hamza cases alone. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-342455/Paedophile-deported-UK-Australia.html |
