Well.... whatever the outcome of the Scottish independence fiasco things in the rest of the UK wont be the same again. Why should Scotland (or any other part of the UK for that matter ) get anymore priviledges that any other taxpayer here? I heard some Scottish people say they were being unrepresented in the houses of parliament,well... that's nothing new for many of us here,IMHO London appears to the rest of us here to always get more at the trough of life than all the rest of us put together. I honestly think that the time has come to move our whole parliamentry establishments to the Midlands, quite simply the old buildings are no longer fit for the purpose, apart from the washing facilities being inadequate surely it is time to move into a new twenty first century building with air con etc, etc. Perhaps even with accomdation quarters for all those MP's that are continually manipulating their personal expense A/C's? Lets face it,London!you've already had your share of our national pie,how about a little more distribution north of Watford gap? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Economy_of_London Edited by Rikiiboy, Sep 13 2014, 04:36 PM.
