Lost songs of St Kilda

I don't usually look at the music reviews in our newspaper, not being very interested in modern music and even less in classical music but for some reason I did this week, and The lost songs of St Kilda caught my eye. Our paper has to explain that it does not refer to the suburb of Dunedin called St Kilda but the little island (now I see it's an archipelago of 5 tiny islands) off the coast of Scotland with a very romantic history with the remaining 36 residents evacuating in the early 20th century (which I knew about from our time in Scotland).

This is a CD of the local folk music played on the piano by Trevor Morrison, a resident in a resthome taught by a former resident of St Kilda, and recorded (by him?). I tried to listen on youtube but the first site I opened cut out after a few seconds and the second one went to the orchestral arrangements done later. The few bars I heard were quite haunting, catching something of the bleakness of the Scottish landscape.
