I need some recommendations for lunch 28 and 29 March in London. Probably near High Street Kensington and Covent Garden / Charing Cross. Is Palm Court brassiere any good? I'm looking for something nice but not wildy expensive.

I am going to Moro tomorrow, one of my favourite restaurants, run by husband and wife team Sam and Samantha Clark, which gives me an opportunity to dust of this old clerihew.

The Sam Clarks
Are bright sparks
And I will go to Moro
Tomorrow

Thanks in advance 😊

The Palm Court Brassiere sounds an intriguing venue.

There's quite a few eating places in Covent Garden, Rumbaba. But I don't know specific ones. It's a shame Mobson doesn't seem to be around at the moment to help you.

Had lunch in a wee Belgian place near Farringdon on Tuesday, called Dovetail: hearty comfort food but ok. Then just went to Côte in Tavistock Street. Mrs R missed lunch cos her mum had a fall and spent the night in A&E . She was checked out and came home. Once she was happy all was ok, she made it up to Ronnie Scott's in time for the headline act, Robben Ford. We saw the Carole King musical last night, it was a good couple of nights out.

Hi all...and Rum...I'm away! Visiting my son who lives on one of the islands in Turks & Caicos! The internet reception is appalling and I've often chastised him for not keeping in contact, now I know why! We've come to a neighbouring island and are staying in a private club with excellent facilities so I am able to post this...although only briefly as its 05.43am and I am going for a swim @ 6am! Glad you enjoyed your London treats Rum. Be back soon!
