Marvellous Caissier winki1 . Are you, or have you ever been, a member of the bizarre 'HyperTV forum'? Can you promise you will not turn everything upside down every other minute? Hey - is HMJ really here too laugh ? I'm going to watch from a distance and see if this forum recovers the interesting qualities of Radio 4's MBs, under the steely control of 'Anna', or descends to Hyperstars whacky approach. Time passes...... ninja |

Take the plunge, A-A. If everyone watches from a distance there'll be nothing worth watching - and they won't be able to see it if there is. |

Hear, hear! There needs to be a critical mass for any place to work - be a devil and take the plunge! ooh! I wrote the word d-e-v-i-l above and I got a smiley! Edited by suzeemoon, Jul 24 2011, 04:33 PM.

The smiley thing is strange. I write 'star' and a little star appears. I write 'RUMBABA' and a little appears.

At least my forum has a <> tag on the smiley so you can write the word of the smiley if you want to winkie1 |

I'm sure we can sort out a tag for our smileys, Rumbaba...(note no smiley?)..without having to resort to drastic measures! I have noticed this on previous posts when using s t a r and also cool, (in a recipe in 'Food' the smiley with sunglasses kept appearing) but that seems to work ok now.... anyway I quite like it! |

I like it too - fun! And if I didn't - a small price to pay in such a civilised forum as this! |

Er ..... my fault. When you transfer a smiley you have to give it a wrd-code thing and I have just been saying what it is. I'll change it if you like ....... ? It looks sort of fun to get a picture but the novelty might wear off ......

It reminds me of those puzzles in kids' comics when you'd have to 'translate' pictures to read a story or letter - you'd have a picture of a deer which you then read as "dear"... |

Mobson...
That didn't really make sense (but then, neither did Caissier closing the thread). I do 'know the whole history', but since some people seemed to be seriously considering accepting HS's help, it was worth asking the question. and I guess you meant 'the reason for NOT dealing with 'someone like HS' is that they are not really contributing to the forum but disrupting it'.
