Get saving those pennies if you're a fan of Madonna ...that's the advice she is giving out to her fans if they want to see her upcoming concert.... Madonna Tells Fans To 'Start Saving' For Expensive Concert Tickets - She's Worth It! Madonna refuses to sympathise with fans who grumble about the escalating price of her concert tickets - insisting they should "start saving" their money because she's "worth it". Tickets for the Material Girl's live shows are always in high demand, allowing promoters to list them at premium prices, despite some complaints from devotees about having to dig deep to afford mediocre seats. But Madonna, who is planning to hit the road later this year, is unconcerned - because she guarantees ticketholders will have a good time at her gigs. She tells Newsweek magazine, "Start saving your pennies now. People spend $300 on crazy things all the time, things like handbags. So work all year, scrape the money together, and come to my show. I'm worth it." The forthcoming tour will be in support of her new album, MDNA, which will be released in March. The Queen of Pop will showcase the lead track, Give Me All Your Luvin, from her 12th studio album at the Super Bowl in America on Sunday. http://www.huffingtonpost.co.uk/2012/02/02/madonna-tells-fans-to-sta_n_1249185.html?ncid=webmail2

Did you see her on Graham Norton? He didn't manage to deal with her, despite trying out various types of obsequiousness. She could not or would not go along with or understand his leg-pulling irreverence. She came over as touchy, tetchy and paranoid and felt free to be a bit nasty to fans. It looked like she has disappeared up her own self-regard. Graham did his best in the circumstances. Edited by caissier, Feb 2 2012, 05:36 PM.

I did see Graham Norton. On came Madonna, her hands sporting the equivalent of fashionista 'boxing gloves' - fingerless leather gloves blazing with the Chanel logo! BBC producers must have been nervous about that!. She had a bemused superior look about her. Graham is a very competent - and resilient - host and let it all go over his head! I watched her on Graham's programme too....not as a fan but out of curiosity as I have never seen her appeal.....and still don't ....she is style over substance personified. There is an article here about her wearing of gloves near enough all the time now... http://www.mirror.co.uk/celebs/news/2012/01/12/madonna-takes-her-glove-love-to-the-2012-golden-globes-red-carpet-too-115875-23696747/ |
