Paddy and Bh were featured on Feedback (last item) - some debate about the programme. I think he's very good in an undemonstrative way and the programme consistently always rewarding. Paddy has been around - he was in New York on 9/11 - and has a lot of authority up his sleeve when he needs it. A quiet class act imo. |

Paddy O'Connell or Eddie Mair? Which gets your vote? I agree about Paddy's style, a most enjoyable listen; unlike Eddie Mair, who though praiseworthy, is tending to make a news-broadcast show revolve around his performance. Sunday morning can be a little more self-indulgent, more levity and tongue just sneaking in-cheek, thus Paddy can get away with a little more. |

Nothing more needs to be said, except that this trivialising of reality ,in keeping with the nauseous @I PM, SEEMS ITS THE DROSS that the BBC think is good enough for those stupid ,ignorant licence payers. |

Ours is free. So I don't suppose I can complain. Having said that, I seldom look or listen to the BBC. I've heard it all before. |
