What a voice this young woman has! Last night the BBC broadcast highlights from her concert last September just before she had to cancel the rest due to a problem with her vocal cords and a resultant operation which put her out of action until her first public performance in February at the Grammy's - can you tell I am a fan!.... I was given the Dvd/Cd combo with her award winning album 21, which was mostly about a broken relationship, for Christmas and I have played it many times on my mac whilst I'm doing something else! There's a fair bit of swearing but hey, she's her own person and she does apologise but she's come a long way since a friend posted her demo on My Space in 2006....she has sold a phenominal amount of records and won many awards...good for her! http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b0195pfx/Adele_Live_at_the_Royal_Albert_Hall/ ...has a cute little dachshund called Louie (Armstrong) after he howled when she played the master's songs.....

She may be Top Of The Pops but not a hit with the fash pack it would seem... Adele Vogue Cover Was One Of the Magazine's 'Worst Sellers' She might be one of the most successful singers in the world right now but Adele isn't such a hit with the fash pack. The Brit singer graced the cover of fashion bible Vogue last October but the magazine's editor has revealed it was one of the publication's worst ever sellers. Speaking to Vogue.co.uk, Alexandra Shulman revealed that despite Adele becoming one of the most famous women in the world, she was a turn off for readers. "Music stars haven't sold at all well. Adele is the most popular woman in the world, but one of the worst sellers we've ever had. "I find there has to be a relationship with the person on the cover that goes beyond how they look. Our most successful cover was the millennium issue - which didn't have anyone on it, but acted like a mirror so you could see your own reflection!" She also confirmed that the Duchess of Cambridge had been approached to appear on the cover of the fashion mag but has yet to accept the offer. Princess Diana appeared on four Vogue covers before her death in 1997. http://www.huffingtonpost.co.uk/2012/05/18/adele-vogue_n_1526505.html |

I went off Adele after her rant about how much tax she pays: a slap in the face for a lot of young people who spend what precious little they have on buying her music and going to her concerts. They would love to be in her tax bracket. When you are as lucky and successful as she is, you should think before you open your gob.

Oh dear! Well Adele is a very outspoken young woman and is the first to admit it - but her heart is in the right place and instead of going to sunnier and wealthier climbs she is staying in the UK....just renting a mansion at the moment with a view to a buy! Can't imagine how she could be condemned for speaking her mind when there are so many other pop and rock stars getting up to all sorts of dubious and unsavoury things....her voice is her talent and weapon and with both has come her undoubted success and fans that are manifold around the world....
