Looking for a 'Wimbledon' cocktail to celebrate a win for Murray <laugh> <laugh>or quite frankly any win from now on in!....

Centre Court: <bubbly>

Chase Vodka ....English Potato vodka grown, distilled and bottled in Herefordshire
fresh watermelon & strawberries blended together
and topped with Piper *(natural raspberry energy juice)
*use another brand of unflavoured energy drink with a few mashed up raspberries...

Great Website!

**Piper is an energy drink - coming here soon - this is what the company says on Linkedin:

PIPER is a non alcoholic 100% Natural Chill Out Drink designed to relax, free your mind and stimulate social interaction. Made in New Zealand, PIPER is infused with a special tonic of Lemon Balm
and Passionflower. These active ingredients have been used in the social rituals of ancient civilisations for centuries to relax the mind, lower inhibitions and promote social interaction.

We’ve taken this tonic and mixed it with a 100% natural blend of New Zealand grown blackcurrants and pear. A twist of slow release complex carbohydrate keeps your body humming while your mind unwinds.

The balance of a relaxed mind but alert body is known as the body’s ‘natural high’. Unwind Naturally, Free Your Mind.

What would the attributes be for the AM Cocktail?

Something long with a few shots in it?
It should have a straw , so you can make a racket when when you are drinking it
An umbrella
Bitters
Something sour (lime juice)
Scotch (no brainer)
Raspberries (which he will be blowing to all his critics), It's also a good Scottish thing
chilled
................... what else?

I suppose Zubrowka (it's flavoured with grass)

Robinson's Barley Water (very Wimbledon)

It shouldn't have the same kick as a 'Nalbandian', though <laugh>

Something white (milk?)

Purple and green

Purple Bols (there's a good story about when I was a barman and someone asked me 'do you have purple Bols?' )

Apple juice is greenish and goes well with Zubrowka

Caro

What you need most of, obviously, is lots of salty water representing the tears that are a certainty in the next week. I'm not sure what they would go best with - gin perhaps. Too ghastly tastes together might work.

No time for tears! Whatever the result today and over the weekend - we've got the Olympics fast approaching and they'll all be back at Wimbledon looking for gold! Now that's the cocktail to have fun with........

It could take over as rhyming slang for curry. Who remembers Ruby these days?

"Come on lads - who's for an Andy?"

My Dad loved Ruby Murray! ....and if Andy is a drinking man (which I doubt!) he would surely prefer a good single malt - doesn't strike me as a cocktail lover! <cool> <technicolourcocktail>
