For the pleasure of my fellow villagers with similar feelings to my own regarding the Games, I have, as of today declared my house an "Olympics Free Zone"

I applaud your decision - if that's how you feel Norm! - for me it's a bit difficult I'm surrounded by banners, flags and public transport advertisements, flashing road signs, barriers, no-go areas for pedestrians and motorists (as of 6am tomorrow) and now huge overhead walkways being constructed at Hyde Park corner into Piccadilly! I am in the Olympic Zone which seems to spread its tentacles further daily, and appears to be here to stay for a while..... in lieu of an 2012 Olympic flag smiley?
