Mint Julep

I 'm drinking a 'Mint Julep'. My sister and her husband are on holiday in the US at the moment (New Orleans, Memphis, Nashville) and we in the process of booking our hols for October (New York, Washington, New Orleans) so I thought I'd have another bash at doing one of these and I think I've cracked it. You need to infuse the lightly-muddled mint leaves with the bourbon (I'm using Buffalo Trace) for a few hours in the fridge. 2 and a half shots of bourbon, 3/4 shot of sugar syrup, lots of crushed ice in the glass (cubes are no good) and Bob's your uncle.
