I don't read all these threads since I don't get British television or radio (well, we got a lot of BBC stuff during the Olympics, I think), so waiting for a tickle may have said he was off somewhere and I haven't noticed. He's usually around late (his night) when the rest of you have gone. But nowhere to be seen in the last couple of days. Does anyone know if he was off on holiday? |

Well you could, but it might be a little bit cumbersome. I find w4at hard enough to type. And I'm not very informal with names. What is yesterday 1.15am in my time? It's 2.15 pm somewhere. But is that yesterday's 2.15 or the day before's? I think it must be the latter. These time things are very confusing. We can't have our three-word chain easily with only two people. So people can't go skiving off without notice. Anyway I told someone to come and have lunch with me at 12.00 - I think I might change that to 12.30. And no more time off here for a while - cooking and cleaning and tidying and shopping to be done. |

Well, it's nice to be missed; almost as nice as being... No, better not go there. Where I have been is Minehead, for a short holiday. One of my mother's sayings, which may or may not have been in widespread use, was "What do you think this is, Butlins?". And that's what it was. Not as bad as I was expecting, although Mrs Tickle and I didn't spend a lot of time on site, as there are some wonderful walks around Minehead - and plenty of pubs with decent beer, which is conspicuous by its absence at Butlins. Still, I'd better give my attention to the three-way word chain. |

How nice to see you back. Everyone else disappears by lunchtime here. I don't know where Minehead is. |

Very good, Norm - although 'atop thine neck' might have been better still. |
