My earworm today is that tune which goes something like....

Doodliom Bodiodi Trompipato
Doodliom Bodiodi Trompipato
Doodlioo Booboodloo Booboodloo Pidipom
Pado Romptypo Romptyfado

It's an orchestral piece and my guess is it's in 4:4 time.

Does anybody know what it's called please?

I think the Doodliom Bodiodi Trompipatos are a bit like minor 7ths

They'd have to put an interval in it for me to be able to sit and watch a picture of that duration.

But listen. I've found the cable for my electric piano so I can tell you the notes of my earworm tune.
I don't know how to indicate quavers, crotchets and minims but upper case notes are longer than lower case.
Also, I don't know a sign for flats. So when it's B flat, I've written A#.

It goes....

c,e,g, A#, a,a#, a, G,f,g,f,E
c,e,g,D, c,d,c,a#,a,a#,g,
g,a#, d,F,e,d,F,e,d,F,e,d,c,
c#,D,c,a#,a,a#,g,C,b,a#,g,f. [There could be one or two errors in it]

Now do you know what it is? It's not thr Ride of The Valkyries, but there is a bit of a similarity.

Maybe rum could play it on his electric guitar from that .....?

c,e,g, A#, a,a#, a, G,f,g,f,E
c,e,g,D, c,d,c,a#,a,a#,g,
g,a#, d,F,e,d,F,e,d,F,e,d,c,
c#,D,c,a#,a,a#,g,C,b,a#,g,f

Nice try, Becky. But no, not that one.

Old Fred didn't know what it is either when I sang it to him up at the golf club today.
But he said he would sing it to Janet when he got home and he thinks she will know it :'(

Not so much an earworm as an eyewash (quite appropriate, really) but I've just been chopping some onions and that always starts me singing: Crying over you...

Janet's been on the phone and she's not sure but she thinks it might be Sibelious.
