A really pointless non-story. it's ridiculous that one case of fostering should be elevated to headline news. We don't know the full details and circumstances of the situation. Let the people involved sort it out. it is bizarre that social work is subjected to this kind of treatment.

sorry caisser, I started a topic on general board after you as missed this thread. feel free to delete the other one.

Anyway back to the topic, I do think that Social care decision is plausible and I'm of the view if they make random decisions like these then they do need to be exposed as there are children whom they are alledgedly protecting but cause so much instability for them that probably the children were better off where they were before the care order given 'em ridicoulous powers that they think cannot be challenged. I have no liking for social workers. The story line in east enders got the some public awareness of what they do and why they do it.

Yes, but the media comes in with its own agenda and uses those caught up. It could be daft social workers but might not. The article says they were told to act and it really is damned if they do/ damned if they don't. We can't tell and can't find out the truth. Lives could be ruined. As with other stories right now, it might be Leveson-related .... Look what a free press can do !!!

The mere fact that 'Gove' <dalek> has got involved minds me to side with the social workers... <whistles>

No chance! I find it difficult to believe that even his mother could love him.....
